Credit scores are safe from debt-management plans

    Why are we all so worried about the grand FICO score? It is simply of measure of one borrowing money and paying it back or lack thereof. It does not identify your net worth in any way. Also, debt-management companies in most instances are reckless and don't solve the problems that people have. They typically charge their fees up front and often don't provide the services they say they will. A person is better off managing their own debt and working out plans to pay it back even if it means the lowering of their beloved FICO.
