You will be going back into you hole you've been hiding in if the Jazz manage to get the 1st pick in the draft this year. OKC only won 8 games in OKC their first year. The Jazz have already won 15. I wouldn't boast if I were you.

How are Roy and Oden doing?

@troll, The Blazers have a better record than the Spazz do.. How are they at the bottom of their division?

Funny how you couch fans are critical of CJ but the numbers do not lie. When he was in the game, the Jazz outscored Houston. See the difference is CJ plays team ball. He does the little things to make his team better. Even though he didn't score much last night (which usually makes you all happy) he helped the team overall outplay the rockets.

Again Hayward is useless overall. So is Bell. You need wings that play both ends of the floor and have a +/- in the positive side when on the floor.

Millsap only cares about his stats and himself. Same with Jefferson. Harris flat out doesn't care about anything or anyone. Until those three are gone, the Jazz will be middle of the road. CJ is the least of your problems. The Jazz won with him on the floor in past years. They have never won with Harris and Jefferson on the floor.

If you are going to critical of CJ, use some facts to back it up...........

How does sitting at the bottom of the division feel? Hahaha

Probably the same as you feel about your job...

The Jazz need a Captain for sure, someone with fire and heart that won't let up on his teamates...a team of nice guys that are like milquetoast, mediocre, and satisfied with that, no fire, no consistency on the road.

I actually think Corbin and the Jazz are doing pretty well this season. The bigs are having great seasons, with Kanter and Favors developing nicely.

The defense was embarassing the first few games, but the defense is good enough, now, that we can start identifying specifics for improvement--such as the pick and roll.

The fact this team is .500 is a miracle considering how atrocious our shooting is from the 1, 2, and 3. The shooting has been horrible all season. Is Jeff Hornacek helping anyone? It's become obvious that to defeat the Jazz, you push Millsap and AJ out as far as possible and don't defend the perimeter. Zone defense is extremely effective.

The only thing we could possibly do right now to improve is kick the ball out to Bell more often. He's the only little with a respectable shooting percentage. We'll have to milk that if we're still thinking about playoffs.

Harris can't defend, he can't shoot, and he can't assist/set-up his team-mates. Yet he continues to play?

Take your pick, the coach is stupid or the GM/ownership that is making him play Harris is stupid.

Its a joke and I am about done watching it.

Cj was in the game way too long tonight! hes so awful! Playing extended minutes with kanter a and favors at the same time was the wrong move. The two of them aren't enough of a scoring threat. Watson isn't a scorer but who cares! He gets the ball down the court and in the right hands! The jazz need to get rid of harris and miles asap!

This team is awful at shooting.

When the opponent does nothave to respect the outside shooters they can play dumb dog defense and Utah gets shut down, especially while playing away from ESA.

The other night the announcer said "Hornacek cringes on the bench when the Jazz miss a wide open 3" That is probably true and iot is true that even retired Hornacek has better chance of hitting a three than do the current players.

The problem is not the players but the coach. When Michael Jordan coached the Bobcats he was never able to teach a single player to dominate as he did. He no longer coaches. Hornacek has never been able to teach a shooter how to get better, his tem is last in the league in shooting...yet he still coaches.

When the Jazz are unable to hit shots they have to go to the single dimension game of Jefferson shooting all the time which is defendable.

I tire of reading about all the assistsof our forward (Hayward). Somebody should tell him we go to watch him score.

Jazz have some great athletes but currently they do not function as a unit and it is hard to even think you can win when you can't shoot in this league.

If the Jazz want to keep up the love affair with Hornacek they need to assign him to the front office as he serves now only to hurt the team, those bottom dwelling stats do not lie.

This team has "never" defended the perimeter especially in the Sloan years and the beat goes on. I have commented several times on this web site about getting game films of Chicago, Boston and the best defensive teams in this league and the need to model our defense somewhat after what they do. Why not Ty? Your defense is just terrible and I would think something different would be the only thought process you would take. While reviewing films look at some of their offense also, lets let the "old Sloan systems go into retirement with him! Also think about playing to your personnel's strengths on both ends.

The starting lineup needs a shake up. Hayward is simply horrible. I'm sure Howard would respond by starting. CJ is lost. Needs to be released or traded. I doubt anyone would take Harris but it would be nice to see him gone. Corbin needs to wake up or he will be gone also.

The game started well for the Jazz. Milsap was on fire. Hayward had four assists. The team was passing to the open man. Don't worry, "the Man of LaMancha and his sidekick Sancho Panza" came to the rescue. Big Al took over the game and Harris gave him the ball. They went back to the patty cake offense and it was two against five. Jefferson ended with 20 shots and Millsap 16. Kanter had 7 rebounds in 12 minutes. Compare this to Jefferson with 12 in 34 minutes. Millsap os great and has lots of heart. The Jazz need to play a team game. Harris had 4 assists and 5 turnovers. You cannot win with the clique of Jefferson, Miles, and Harris. I watched Iowa upset Indiana in college ball. Iowa hit the open man and they won.

The comments are hilarious tonight about CJ. Strange how he was the only player with a +/-in the positive side tonight. While he was on the court playing his 21 minutes, the Jazz outscored Houston. While he was on the bench, they were outscored by 17. Take off your blinders fans. Hayward is useless. Harris and Watson are useless on D. It's time to insert CJ back in the starting lineup. Even Jerry could see that!!

CJ night in and night out has one of the best +/- on the team. Now if Corbin would just set him free in the offense and let him play, the Jazz would start winning. Corbin needs to go.

Hugh I agree as usual with you...Gordon I cannot say goodbye to yet. But Burks and Evans need the minutes or else the rest of this season is going to be a waste of time. Likely not making the playoffs we have to go with the youth...

As much as I hate on Harris, at least he can hit an open jumper or LAYUP.
Watson cannot. I cringe every time I see his jimmy legs let go on a jumper.

This team needs an overhaul, starting with the guards.

Hayward, Howard and Miles should be considered expendable also.

I just can't believe the same poor performers night in and night out get so
    much playing time.

I said it before. Corbin is a nice man. He is done a decent, not great job with this young team...Still, I have said from day One he cannot take us back to a high level...He is a like a lot of nice men, teachers..Maybe more suited to the College game. Jody before the game warned me on 3s. I said before up to this point we were lucky not playing a lot of good shooting teams why we seemed better defending the 3. Earl was not very good but he is a backup I never expected more..He has a place for me. My problem is Miles and Harris. Miles Twitter comments tonight showed he is in Denial..He is one of 3 problems this team has that is keeping us from Top 8. Scola scored a lot but Paul at least Neutralized him. Usually good vs good or Great v Great can cancel each other out. The thing again to me is Lowry destroying Harris/Watson and no adjustments. Harris is the main reason we cannot get over the hump. He is worthless

I might be missing something here. Why? With Devin Harris's play, and Earls play of late, has Jamaal Tinsley been continually been denied playing time? What's up? Find out if he can play and if not "Get us a point guard who can". Our bigs are a waisting with this kind of point guard and wing play!

I'm sure the Boston Celtics would love to give up Rondo for Devin Harris and CJ Miles....(sarcasm).

How does sitting at the bottom of the division feel? Hahaha

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GM O"CONNER, help the team, we can not win with this group, lets tweak the roster!! Let me make a few points- CJ MILES- awful, this kid has no basketball IQ, horrendous defense and unable to hit a jumper..He's been told to attack the basket, but refuses to do so. So please O'CONNER let him go via trade. DEVIN HARRIS- Not a floor general, and turnover prone-did u see that dumb foul right before halftime with 2 seconds left, just bonehead. So please O'CONNER let him go via trade. WATSON- Not a starting point guard material, simply cant shoot and cant score. But he plays hard so lets keep him as a back-up. MY SUGGESTION TO YOU O'CONNER- Trade for a point guard that can shoot the ball and get 8-10 assists a game, (MO WILLIAMS or JOSE CALDERON or even RONDO) I think we can package Harris and Miles for a an upgraded point.... SO STOP DEMORALIZING OUR HOPES AND MAKE IT HAPPEN, O'CONNER!!!!!!!

Blasted is exactly right. No point guard play on either end tonight, Bell, Jefferson, Milsap and Kanter were the only ones that contributed tonight. This is a "very" hard team to figure. Tinsley sets again? Why? Oh well we are not going to make the playoffs regardless, lets tweak a few things before the trade deadline management if anyone wants what you don't want.

The point guard attack on our most glaring weakness continues. The trade dead line cannot come soon enough. It's a painful thing to watch.
