"You mention one thing Trump has done but you forget the economic miracles Trump has pulled off. Did you know Ford is building a $2.5 billion plant in Michigan instead of Mexico now ? "

Well, I have been out fly fishing and not hyperventilating. As for Trump - he has not pulled off any economic miracles. Ford's decisions were made before he became POTUS. Right now we are still enjoying the steady economic growth that came about because of Obama. Trump has been in office just barely over 100 days and hasn't done anything other than sign more executive orders that do nothing, and played more golf than any other POTUS in their first 100 days.

What he has done is show everyone that he is unable of being an effective leader. He won't let his communication team speak for him, and undercuts their efforts at every turn. This firing of Comey was just plain dumb.

I don't see how anyone can claim Trump has done anything successful.

I am a lifelong Republican and I am appalled that Trump would be so cavalier about security information. It wasn't six months ago that Hilary Clinton did exact same thing and she was not elected because of it!

Our security depends on getting good information - from our people working undercover in the field and our allies. If our allies dont trust us anymore and we are putting their operatives in danger, do you think we will continue to get good information?

President Trump is too sensitive to criticism and his inability to get through any amount of conversation without bragging is the reason for this leak.

    Bring out everything.

Ahhh, Ted Cruz. Now that is a man I could have voted for!

To be honest, I would be fine if Trump were impeached and Mike Pence became president. I trust him head and shoulders over Donald Trump. Of course, an impeached Trump would likely result in Republican losses in 2018, and again in 2020. But I do not trust Trump at all. And I do not trust Putin. If Putin is stating the talking points of a meeting between Trump and Russian diplomats to provide support to Trump, that simply gives me reason not to trust Trump! Does anyone think Putin has any good motives?

There were "true conservatives" running remember? Ted Cruz? So what happened? People wanted a change from the same ole do-nothing polititian whether Dem or GOP. They voted for a true populist Donald Trump. You mention one thing Trump has done but you forget the economic miracles Trump has pulled off. Did you know Ford is building a $2.5 billion plant in Michigan instead of Mexico now ? Other car companies and tech companies and manufacturing companies are doing to the same thing. All because of Trump. Is a high pay job worth something? It is to the people in Michigan. We also now have two major pipelines being built which again will create high pay energy jobs not to mention the energy jobs from all the off shore drilling now going forward ...oh and add to that the coal miners ...of and add to that fracking. Because of Trump we now have religious liberty protections with the repeal of the Johnson amendment which allows now for Christian churches to talk about politics in their churches without being sued by big brother government. Again -- Trump. Pay attention my friend to the "real world" not all the fake news.

people who care about this -> liberals and the far left

people who see through this nonsense and want tax cuts and new health care -> everybody else

The Democrats have their own movie -- with their own script and actors. Their media report on their movie. In the real world people are anxious to get lower taxes and new high pay jobs ...and health care that actually works.

FYI to lefties: Trump is not a KGB agent so why not give it a rest fellas? Go enjoy the Spring weather and get outside and plant a garden or something? Maybe go to Disneyland? Eat some fruit and calm yourself before you hyperventilate. There are plenty of conspiracy shows on cable or DISH for you to watch at night to fill your need.

Trump--the great business leader, the great manager, exposed as a fraud, a phony, just like Romney said!

Trump is struggling and floundering in his role as president of the United states. He struggles to stay on message, to communicate effectively, to even "fire" Comey. Other than nominating a good SC justice, what has Trump done right?

We all wish Conservatives had behaved conservatively and voted for a true conservative and a true leader.

We may have Putin laughing so hard at the turmoil in Washington that he suffers a stroke. The utter insanity and foaming at the mouth of the Democrats, and their propaganda organizations at the Washington Post and New York Times is really amusing. In particular, the leading Dimm, Schumer is so twisted, he makes a mobius strip look like a straght line by comparison. It really is funny!

Jim Cobabe: "Since the exact information Mr Trumpet "leaked" to the Russians appears to have been reported over the public airwaves by CNN earlier in the week..."

Are you sure about that? So all this distress by Congress is completely unwarranted?

We should just listen to Putin, who has assured us that there was not secret information revealed during the meeting, and has even offered to give us the transcripts of the meeting, since he is the only one that has them.

Where is the wall that Mexico paid for?
Where are the jobs? (not fast food--REAL jobs...carreers..)
Where are the tax breaks for everyone?
Where is the viable and fair health care policy?
How come ISIS is still hanging around?

    @Jim Cobabe

Watching too much watered-down version - or complete evasion - of Trump's malfeasance on Fox? Or is Trump the ultimate personification of Russia's patented "cult of personality" for you?

Yes, we're going to believe the scurrilous journalists than actual witnesses or trumpet (sic). They're way less likely to lie to us, those journalists, and way more likely to suffer consequences if they do.

Good to see Putin acting as a Trump spokesman. Spicer, Kellyanne, and Huckabee can only get better if there's competition.

Since the exact information Mr Trumpet "leaked" to the Russians appears to have been reported over the public airwaves by CNN earlier in the week, the overenthusiastic celebration of his perfidious betrayal is difficult to comprehend. And the NYT story about secret memos fails to rise above the tabloid news level - all hearsay and inuendo, no supporting evidence. News consumers seem to prefer to trust scurrilous journalists more than actual witnesses. So goes the news.

It's mind boggling to think we have to ask whether trump is participating in active deception and illegal acts or simply so ignorant and incompetent that he hasn't a clue.
Either way, I think back to the campaign. There was supposed to be the great pivot to presidential.
It's not going to happen. It never was.

I am quite sure President Trump meant to add the word "forward" as in "let it go forward" (the investigation).

On the other hand, I guess it was ok for Bill Clinton to ask Loretta Lynch to let it go (the investigation of his wife, Hillary).

Not sure it was before or after they discussed golf and their grandchildren.

The 'Comey Memo' is but one of several detailed contemporaneous write-ups Comey prepared after each of his meetings with Trump.

Yesterday's 'blockbuster' that Trump expressly asked Comey to back off investigating Flynn is but one of many blockbusters to come, as all of Comey's memos are provided to Congress and/or leaked.

What Comey described in his memo -- a sitting President asking the FBI Director to cease investigation of a high-ranking member of his administration -- appears to be text-book obstruction of justice, and grounds for impeachment. The 'judge and jury' for impeachment will be Congress -- so none of our opinions, legal or otherwise, matter for that purpose -- but if in a court of law, a contemporaneous record by a law enforcement officer who witnessed a crime is both admissible as evidence and potent in its credibility.

To extent Comey's record is accurate, not only did Trump engage in what may be a crime in front of a law enforcement officer, but he seems completely oblivious that he was even doing so. This suggests that the Comey memos may have many more admissions or evidence of wrong-doing, all from Trump's own mouth.

    Drip, drip, drip.

I look for a whole bunch of Trump staff resignations. The amount of pressure they will be under to "right the ship" will be immense while Trump is overseas. The situation is rapidly spiraling out of control and Trump won't be there to bark out orders. It's hard to think of a more inopportune time for the president to be out of the country. Trump has created chaos and the whole world knows it. We have never been weaker.

This might be a fatal screw up. I had Trump going out in 18 months. Looks like it may be sooner. Nobody, except Trump's blindest followers, believe him anymore-including his staff. It's time to swallow the truth and realize that Trump is a huge liability to our nation. This isn't a partisan issue-this is an American survival issue. Get him out before it's too late.
