    Hey Sven -

"And yet the Democrat Convention has barrier wall around the stage/podium. The GOP didn't have a wall around their stage; why do the Democrats feel a wall is necessary amongst their own people?"

    Thanks for pointing that out.

Democrats are appropriately cautious and security conscious. We try to prepare for contingencies . . . As opposed to irresponsible Republican leaders who think a laissez faire do-nothing approach is the answer.

As you may have noticed, terrorists don't knock down our nation's tallest buildings and kill thousands of American civilians when Democratic Presidents are in power.

That ONLY happens when irresponsible and criminally malfeasant Republicans take control of the Presidency.

    Did that answer your question?

Yeah, yeah and the gun worshipping GOP won't allow guns in the GOP convention, but wants to force them into every other venue in America?

"would've been nice if you could've posted some positive stories about the terrific GOP Convention."

Maybe they tried really hard, but the GOP convention was so negative, that only trumpians would see it as positive, while reasonable people would not be attracted to the vile nastiness as "positive." Must be the long term exposer to horrible people on their radios that make trump seem even... acceptable?

"BTW, did you happen to see that Trump is beating Hillary in many new polls?" -Sven

That's because The Donald got his expected "post-Convention bump" (albeit a somewhat anemic one). Let's see what the polls look like this weekend or next Monday, after Hillary gets *her* "post-Convention bump" . . .

    Turning corruption into a positive?

How many people really watch these conventions, or care? This election will be decided after the first debate. A lot of angry, white males out there. The Dem's need to hope they can off-set the flood of them coming to the polls this year with departing, educated conservatives and minorities.

I think I know a little about Bernie Sanders, and I remember Barry Sanders, a running back for the Detroit Lions. But who's "Berry Sanders"?

The contrast between the two parties is stark. What a wonderful thing to see the democrats' positive attitude, leadership, ideas and developing unity. Plus, delegates, speakers and staff that look like a cross section of America.

Keep telling yourself that GaryO keep living in denial. But when all you watch is corporate owned cable newsations like MSNBC and Fox, all they sell are denial and lies. Hows the tinfoil hat fitting?

    @onevote:

Was it positive the way the DNC disenfranchised Sender's supporters, and trashed Berry Sanders personally? Your party is corrupt to the core, and the utter chaos that is your convention is apparent for all to see.

BTW, did you happen to see that Trump is beating Hillary in many new polls?

The Democrat Party; the party of corruption and disenfranchisement.

BTW, we all appreciate DN dutifully spinning this disaster of a convention as something positive. would've been nice if you could've posted some positive stories about the terrific GOP Convention. Oh, well.

No one is surprised that our Russian foe and the GOP are allies in their attempts at sabotaging our political process. It all makes sense, doesn't it? If Trump the Republicans win, Russia wins too . . . Because America loses.

But all sane Americans are UNITED now against our common enemies . . . Enemies that include Donald Trump.

After all, Trump is greedy, mean, loud, narcissistic, hateful, unprincipled, compulsive, confused, and absolutely clueless about foreign and domestic policy. He is the kind of guy who cruely mocks the disabled. As Mitt Romney noted, he is dishonest. He cheats and steals.

All decent people are aligned against him and everything he represents. The little riff in the Democratic Party has been mended.

We Democrats are united as one to DENY Donald Trump and his ilk the ability to harm this nation.

I just saw Michelle Obama speak, and believe me, Melania will want to steal parts of this speech too.

And it wasn't about Trump. It was about Hillary.

Hillary Clinton is so completely superior to Donald Trump in every good way, it makes me prouder than ever to be a Democrat.

Oh Good! Elizabeth Warren is next.

I wonder if the democrats feel used and manipulated knowing now that all along it was rigged for Hillary. All of their donations, campaigning and voting for either candidate was all part of a circus meant to make them feel like they had a choice in the matter. Now they are watching a coronation that was guaranteed long before the first caucus in Iowa.
