    Good for the EU.

They want out, then get out now!

Just like an unruly teenager. Enjoy life on your own for a while.

The Exit folks didn't, or were incapable of, thinking through the consequences of their actions. In the name of freedom from being beholden to the EU, the Brits now are in the position of having to beg, hat in hand, for trade deals with EU members.

Perhaps those on the dole, the vast majority of whom supported the Exit, don't care about other Brits losing their jobs because of the Exit, they just want to bask in their *freedom*

The Leave crowd thought the money from the EU would go to pay for more socialized medicine for the older people. This was not true. Will be less when Scotland leaves and recession hits.

Great for the English. They showed those Euros!

Except it's not that easy. Corporations in the UK are beginning to prepare for layoffs, financial companies will be moving elsewhere, as instability in the Pound makes London a less attractive center of finance.

The last laugh may come from the Scots, who will be getting an attractive EU entry package, from a Europe that will be both chastened, and hungry to gain new members. Ireland is already recruiting foreign corporations who had substantial operations in the UK *because* it was an English-speaking entry point to the EU.

If the UK growls at Scotland and tells them they can't leave, they'll be hypocrites, but the Scots just need to point out that all of the UK nuclear weapons are in Scotland. Ooops!

England is playing the defiant, dim-witted Monty Python anti-hero: "Brave, daring, unafraid... not too smart".

Seriously, we all need to hope the acute leadership vacuum in England doesn't devolve into social instability, especially as the pain intensifies.

Bravo for the Brits. The EU is like a scorned lover going borderline. Red Rockets comments is spot on. The socialist in the world want to enslave all of us under the guise of inclusion.

Freedom and independence taste sweeter than all the welfare handouts doled out by the leftist world order with strings attached.

The problem with voting to be in the bubble is you have to live in it as well.

"EU lawmakers tell UK: If you're leaving, get moving"

    No kidding!

It's time for the nut jobs in the United Kingdom to mosey, isn't it?

    Hasta la vista!

    See ya! . . . Wouldn't wanna BE ya!

Of course, those "Conservative" leaders in the UK shouldn't expect to receive ANY more of those benefits they received while being members of the EU.

You can't still have your cake after you've eaten it, can you?
