    Hey DN Subscriber -

"At last the real story comes out. "

Yes, and let's look at the real story, shall we?

The crazy shooter was a proud and staunch Republican and a Tea Partier who absolutely DESPISED President Obama and who spoke loudly and often against Liberals and Progressives.

People who didn't recognize warnings of his insanity are now being pilloried by proud and staunch Republicans and a Tea Partiers who absolutely DESPISE President Obama and who speak loudly and often against Liberals and Progressives.

I gather then that it is incumbent upon us sane people to identify insane and potentially dangerous people in our society.

That should be easy, shouldn't it?

We should be scrutinizing proud and staunch Republicans and a Tea Partiers who absolutely DESPISE President Obama and who speak loudly and often against Liberals and Progressives.

Well I'm safe. But perhaps the "Conservatives" who post regularly in this forum should have themselves objectively evaluated for mental and emotional problems.

At last the real story comes out.

Courts and liberals are unwilling to stigmatize or label or identify people who are seriously mentally ill so that they can be denied access to firearms.

We already have plenty of gun control laws which (in theory) ban criminals and the mentally ill from getting guns. But, they are not enforced. And, if courts and liberals are unwilling to identify the seriously mentally ill and involuntarily commit them so they will be reported, then they bear the blame for the results.

Besides the mentally ill, the BATF and federal prosecutors are negligent in prosecuting prohibited persons who try to buy guns and fail background checks. When only 10 out of 79,000 criminal attempts to purchase guns are prosecuted (2010 data) then they are not serious about stopping criminals.

When people demand more gun control while unwilling to enforce existing laws, you know it is not about stopping criminals, but rather setting up national gun registration which is the prerequisite for gun confiscation, although they will deny the latter.
