    It was a problem in Korea when I was there for military training. I purchased what I thought were name brand polo shirts. The shirts fell apat after a few weeks of wear.

    No one has to buy the overpriced hoity-toity brands, but giving a pass to counterfitters is like saying it's OK to rob a rich man.

    What you are saying is that as long as it is not my ox that is being gored, ignore the problem. Not owning any designer items it doesn't affect me either, but that doesn't mean it's not an important issue.

    I've always had a hard time feeling sorry for any outfit that figures they can try to sell a purse that costs more than my car. They bring it on themselves.
