Greece maintains that the reason socialism failed is because they didn't
have enough of it. That is the hollow excuse that Venezuela, the former USSR and
its satellites and Cuba have used for the failures of marxism. As long as the EU
and particularly Germany would subsidize the inefficient and corrupt Greek
economy, they were blasé. Now it's a global crisis and someone else is
called upon to fix it.
