Consumer group lists '10 worst toys' for kids

    In the year 2010 there were 17 children (children defined as 15 or younger) in the entire US who died from toy related deaths, five of those deaths were from balloons. This statistic tells me that there is no such thing as a dangerous toy in the entire USA. Even if a parent only buys the USA's most dangerous toys for their child those toys are still one of the least likely objects in the home to kill their child. I would bet my next pay check that the bubble wrap these so called dangerous toys are shipped in is just as likely to cause death as the dangerous toys themselves.

    so "Wooden Instruments" and toy guns are out huh? I go back to my grade school days with Lincoln Logs and Cap guns. Somehow I managed to survive my childhood with these un-politically correct toys. I even had a Dick Tracy Power Jet Gun - it shot water. Cool!! Kids my age grew up with B-B guns and Blackcat firecrackers and none of us turned out to be mass murderers....just doctors, engineers and high school principals.
