I wish Texas politicians would spend their time/effort on cleaning up our polluted air rather than trying to restrict a legal procedure. Maybe if abortion was a multi-billion dollar industry they'd be less concerned about safety. They don't seem to care that people are regularly blown up, burned, and maimed in the course of drilling for "Texas gold." And they clearly care even less about the quality of the air all of those potential children might breathe some day.

Yes, HB2 is about safety in the same way Amendment 3 is about preserving "traditional marriage." When you look beneath the disguise, you find religion.

--- Perry should be made to apologize to Melissa Rivers and her son.

So Republican Rick Perry is advocating “tighter regulations,” and greater government interference in the private sector huh?

And he thinks he’s justified in shutting down abortion clinics because Joan Rivers died?

    Hmmm . . . . Well, she was 81.

I’m pretty sure she wasn’t having an abortion.

Apparently all of this leaky logic on the part of GOP leaders seems like perfect sense to most Republicans.

    That’s quite telling isn’t it?
