As a country we can not live within our means.

We are going bankrupt. We will not be able to pay our debt.

I do not see why we have to borrow money to police the Middle East .

If you and others really want us to police the Middle East what do you think of a pay as you go plan?

Instead of borrowing money from other countries which our children and grand children will struggle to pay off, Why don't we figure how much in excess of our revenue is it and have a special line on our 1040 tax form for "War tax in the Middle East"

Some how I think the support for our military interventions in the Middle East would evaporate .

We only get a small percentage of our energy needs from the Middle East , Why don't the countries who receive the benefit assume the responsibility? China, Japan, Europe?

Iran is a known terrorist sponsoring country. Their help and cooperation in such an endevour could never be counted on. Nor should it. They are currently putting all their efforts into developing and obtaining nuclear weapons before Israel, the USA and/or NATO shuts down those efforts.

Their continuing delay tactics against that happening have so far succeeded. The West is being almost unbelievably naive toward Iran's real intentions.

There is no valid argument against I.S. being a scourge and parasite on the world front. All civilized countries, especially those who cherish their freedoms, should be united in their efforts to completely eliminate this ultra-terrorist group from the face of the earth.

It should be a no-brainer when such threatening groups come into existence. This particular one is especially dangerous and grievous and should therefore be dealt with in a very forceful manner ASAP. The sooner, the better... no matter what it takes.

"None of our puny little opinions compares to the clear and sure voice of God's chosen prophets."

You are absolutely correct. My condemnation for the modern state of Judah (Israel is a misnomer, their ancestors were the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Judah in Old Testament times) is based on the various OT prophets such as Moses, Isaiah and Jeremiah who spoke for the Lord and basically said, "Be kind to strangers for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt."

Besides, Palestinians are have Jewish blood in them. The language that they speak (Arabic) does not determine ethnicity anymore than an American Indian speaking English means that the speaker is British.

When American Evangelicals look forward to Jews in Israel accepting Christ the answer for them is that their prayers have been answered. The Christian Jews they wish for are living in Bethlehem and can't go to church on Christmas Eve because they have to pass through too many IDF checkpoints.
