    Today the so-called rock are would be called graffiti, and the perpetrators would likely be arrested and fined.

    Did anyone ever really believe the scientist dated things correctly?
    Not me.

    After seven years of study they cut the margin of error from between 2,000 and 4,000 years to between 1,000 and 2,000 years? Some technologies are pretty fascinating to me, this one just isn't accurate enough to be one of them.
