My 11 year old son dragged me to see this and it turned out better than I expected (I really didn't want to go). The best part of it was telling the story from the beginning (sort of) and getting all the details about how they came to be as I had never known that before. It may not even be totally accurate (I really don't care) but at least I now know something about them that I never really knew before being too old for them growing up.

Pros: excellent special effects regarding the Turtles themselves. They are very lifelike and believable. Some good humor (could use some more). Clean. No bad language. Good job on the story line.

Cons: Very frenetic and a bit too much action. It hardly ever slows down. The scenes, obviously created by Michael Bay, are over-the-top when it comes to the laws of physics and even slightly resembling real possibility. Did I mention frenetic?
