    GaryO:

"As a Moderate, I can’t speak for 'folks on the left,' but yes, I do pay attention to the news. And I also pay attention to the Right-Propaganda sources , like FOX 'NEWS,' disseminate misinformation while masquerading as news sources.
But no matter how they try to spin it, the facts remain facts."

Interesting that most of your words in this post have nothing to do with the topic at hand. The quote I provided you in my first post were Dear Leader's own words. So, since Obama's own words are negating your claims about "Nation Building" you're now attempting to blame Fox News for this...seriously?

"The GW Bush administration launched an unprovoked war against a sovereign country, occupied it, installed a government unsupported by the people of that country, and decreed victory."

    Dear Leader disagrees with you:

"But even in Iraq, America sought to work within the international system. We did not claim or annex Iraq’s territory. We did not grab its resources for our own gain. Instead, we ended our war and left Iraq to its people in a fully sovereign Iraqi state that can make decisions about its own future."

    Hey Svenn –

    Thanks for reaching out.

“Do you folks on the Left even remotely pay attention to the news, and more specifically what your Dear Leader says?”

As a Moderate, I can’t speak for “folks on the left,” but yes, I do pay attention to the news. And I also pay attention to the Right-Propaganda sources , like FOX “NEWS,” disseminate misinformation while masquerading as news sources.
But no matter how they try to spin it, the facts remain facts.

    Here’s a fact:

The GW Bush administration launched an unprovoked war against a sovereign country, occupied it, installed a government unsupported by the people of that country, and decreed victory.

Obama’s words in the quote you provided do not contest those facts.

Face it Sven . . . Naïve, irresponsible, and underhanded “Conservative” Republican leadership left our nation and our allies in a terrible predicament.

How can we stave off future problems?

The answer is obvious. NEVER vote Republican.

    I’m glad I could help.

"We did just that. But it didn't last long did it? That's because the whole idea of "nation building" in Iraq was ridiculous from the get go.

And as you may recall, Senator Barack Hussein Obama absolutely opposed this nation attacking Iraq."

    ======

Do you folks on the Left even remotely pay attention to the news, and more specifically what your Dear Leader says? Apparently not. Please square your comments with Dear Leader's own words from this past March when he was speaking to the international community:

"But even in Iraq, America sought to work within the international system. We did not claim or annex Iraq’s territory. We did not grab its resources for our own gain. Instead, we ended our war and left Iraq to its people in a fully sovereign Iraqi state that can make decisions about its own future." (Barack Obama, Palais des Beaux-Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels, March 26, 2014)

You might want to have a little chat with your Dear Leader; he seems to be going off script just a little bit. ;-)

    Hey Svenn -

    " . . . ..we’re leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq"

We did just that. But it didn't last long did it? That's because the whole idea of "nation building" in Iraq was ridiculous from the get go.

And as you may recall, Senator Barack Hussein Obama absolutely opposed this nation attacking Iraq.

    But we did.

And according to certain "Conservative" geniuses, we wrapped everything up to our advantage in an amazingly short time.

"Mission Accomplished!" - GW Bush, May 1, 2003

And let us not forget the words of our Glorious, Dear Leader:

“Iraq’s future will be in the hands of its people. America’s war in Iraq will be over...we’re leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq"

-President Obama, Fort Bragg, NC, December 14, 2011
