    @ BYUalum

Ted Cruz is definitely not "one of the smartest men in the Senate and a no-nonsense Senator". He would be the opposite of that.

You and Ted Cruz believe that there are "atrocities of this administration", this is a "socialist administration", and there is "tyranny in America!"

Might you be overstating it just a tad? Calm down with the hyperbole (I'm speaking to you and Ted Cruz). We, as a nation, need to be calm and considerate of each other, and with those who might be of a different political persuasion, in order to get things done.

Neither the world, nor your way of life, is ending.

If Obama did nothing and then some Americans got killed in a rocket attack on that airport then Cruz would be pushing to get to the front of the line to call it another Benghazi.

BYUalum, turn off Fox News and learn the real story from other sources. My family suffered due to the exploitive government shutdown headed by Cruz. he has done so much damage to this country with no results of his own.

CNN interviewed him and in the middle the interviewer asked him what he had done? It totally stumped Cruz because he had no answer. He was only badmouthing everything and offered no solutions. Look it up on U-Tube, Cruz is embarrassing.

At least if you look to the facts you will see the truth.

Yet, I'm guessing that if there were no temporary ban on US flights, and a plane was shot down, Senator Cruz would be blocking appointments and demanding to know why President Obama hadn't done more to protect American lives and business interests..

Are the politicians gambling with lives at Israel's Ben Gurian airport.

Many pro Israel politicians feel that closing the airport will give Hamas some kind of victory. If the FAA does not act the individual airlines should. It is always better to error on the side of safety than to gamble with the lives of its passengers and crew.

Huge liability will be occurred by the individual airline if one of their planes are brought down at Ben Gurian by any type of rocket.

Today Friday 25 of July Air Canada flt 84 was on final approach to the airport. Air Traffic Controllers called off their approach because of a missile in the area and AC84 was told to fly around until the airport was safe. After circling the area they were allowed to land.

Tell me do you think the passengers were told the reason behind their aborted approach?

That would be an interesting question for Senator Cruz to answer.

Any one else care to answer?

riverofsun: I invite you to study the life, academia, his many arguments before the Supreme Court, and family life of Ted Cruz. Don't just "shoot from the hip" about him. He has gone to Congress to fight for our rights under a socialist administration. He is 100% scholar of the Constitution. He believes in our country and is fighting for our rights against what has become tyranny in America! I fully support Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, outstanding Americans in every way.

    God Bless America!

Perhaps voters and those around him, should seek answers about who, exactly, is the real Ted Cruz, and what is he truly after.

Come on moutainman you know as well as everyone that the republicans have forced everything to be passed by a super majority 60 votes or face filibuster.

Senator Cruz has only ONE vote in a Democratic controlled Senate! He therefore can not block anything with only one vote! Call Harry Reid with your complaints about the Senate blocking everything they block.

Ted Cruz is running for President.

Why do our Presidential candidates feel the need to "suck up" to Israel so blatantly?
Perhaps Israel has to much influence in the foreign policy of the United States?

To me he sounds like the late Senator Joe McCarthy.

The purpose of the temporary a ban on U.S. airline flights to Israel was to protect Americans. There is NO U.S. economic boycott of Israel. Allowing senators to place holds on appointments is merely a courtesy. With the likes of Ted Cruz exploiting it, that courtesy needs to end.

Yes because what we need is more conspiracy theory pushers stalling important appointments in the middle of multiple international crisis.

I love Ted Cruz. He is one of the smartest men in the Senate and a no-nonsense Senator. You can always count on his speaking out against the atrocities of this administration and always upholding the Constitution of the United States. He is one of the few who do. I back him 100% and wish we had more like him in Washington, D.C.

Cruz is once again showing his credentials as a nonsensical bloviator, and he's impressing his proudly unaware constituents.

He's doing what Tea Party politicians do . . . NO GOOD.

So cruez is blocking new ambassador appointments to Russia as well as ambassadors to key U.S. allies including France, Norway, South Korea and Turkey. As well as Envoys involved in arms control and nuclear nonproliferation because of a baseless consperecy theory? Are there any lengths the republicans are not willing to go o in their attempt to attack Obama? I suppose the many lives being lost in these areas mean nothing as long as they can float another consperecy out there.

Is this issue, and I use that word lightly, really worthy of a senator's time.
