With Fallujah and a third of Iraq now in fundamentalists hands. I wonder what
our brave service men and women who fought valiantly to liberate Fallujah must
be thinking now?Who will history hold accountable for our
"preemptive war" with Iraq? Will they consider it
justified? Will they consider it a mistake or deliberate manipulation
of public opinion?
Given the current state of events in Iraq, Would they be better off with
Saddam? Before our "preemptive" invasion he was willing to do
what ever we wanted as long as we would allow him to remain in power. Understandable his tactics were questionable but he knew what it took to keep
Iraq together and the Islamists in line.
