I like mobile homes. They are insulated all around and in the floor. and can go 70 miles an hour down the freeway. What is a starter home. I don't want to go through looking and all the other stuff to buy another home. May be I buy a tiny place when I get old.

Well, it not surprising, They aren't the only ones competing for those entry level homes. They are competing with Baby Boomer Home-flippers, Hedge Funds buying distressed properties and renting them out. and, Banks who have foreclosed on Millions of homes, but are content to just slowly release these homes into the market so as not to depress prices further. Add in Depressed wages, who can buy a home on a $10/hour wage? If I were a new college graduate, with no job propsects, I'd move back home to my old bedroom and pull the covers over my head. As this wassn't what I had planned for my life to be at this point.
