"A median 56 percent across those nations said they have confidence that Obama will do the right thing in world affairs "

Well, yeah . . . the difference between the United States and the rest of the world is that the US has become infested with a poisonous Right Wing influence that has insinuated its way into mainstream American culture.

Thus . . . the ability for many Americans to make sound judgments has become impaired.

Of course Obama is popular with the rest of the world. He’s doing the world good as opposed to doing the world harm, unlike GW Bush, who was immensely unpopular. GW was unpopular for good reason. Look what he did to Iraq and the Middle East.

But a large segment of America with its thick and lethargic Right Wing Hive mind was slow to notice just what destruction American Republicans were wreaking upon the world.

That same segment is incapable of making reasonable judgments abut Obama.
