Compassionate Conservatives chiming in, why not just shoot these little children yourselves.

Fitness Freak said "So.........NOW Obama wants 2 billion to solve a problem that he, and he alone, created?"
That's about the funniest ignorant rant on here, Nice.

Arizona, Texas and California should load all of these children up on buses with proper provisions and support services and transport them to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington and drop them off at the White House gates and see if things start moving a little quicker then.

    Mark B,

I would guess, you, along with the rest of California, voted Obama. Texas, and Arizona didn't.

Shouldn't these children, gang members, and terrorists be entering your state?

I believe this is all about one-world government. I believe it is covertly sanctioned, even encouraged by Obama's administration. After all, how did the pregnant women, teenagers, and little children come up with supposedly $5,000 - and that' s U.S. dollars - to get on a bus to America? Are American big businesses protesting? NO! Are our government officials protesting? NO! The big boys who run this country are noticeably silent. These immigrants are the beginning of a borderless American continent, and I think Obama is simply delivering on personal goals to accomplish just that.

"White House: Most unaccompanied children crossing border won't stay in US"

Well then, let's start moving them out. They don't need an assigned immigration lawyer or to be run up before an immigration judge (all at taxpayer expense). Just head 'em up and move 'em out, as the saying goes. Starting tomorrow. What's the hold-up?

Why does the administration qualify their statement with "most" which does send a message there is hope for the other children to cross the border in hope of being able to stay?

    Yes, enforcing laws costs money.

And less money that it does to allow illegal immigrants to stay in our country.

But as usual, libs like the "spend more money" approach

Not enforcing laws is more costly in the long term. And the damage done to society can take decades to fix.

Gee, I forgot. Enforcing laws doesn't cost anything at all.

The children are a diversion. 194,000 people came through just one border patrol area this year. Obama's threat of executive action has caused a surge on our borders of adults coming here for his amnesty.

You want to separate families, you want people dying in the desert? Just promise the ones already here amnesty, and not enforcing our laws.

I hope business and the pro-illegal groups are happy over this mess they and Obama have created.

I think the headline is misleading, Johnson really didn't say much of anything. By asking congress for $2 billion to solve the problem Obama shifts the blame to Congress. He could simply enforce the existing laws.

The Homeland Security Secretary said they are still trying to decide what to do. He would not answer a direct question from David Greggory about whether or not they would be deported, and said it could take a substantial amount of time for them to go through the deportation process. And yet they are sending the people by bus/airplane to other cities. It makes no sense.

If you were trying to sneak illegals into the country in huge numbers, wouldn't you try to make sure they are voting age? Since Obama cannot run again, doesn't that make the whole conspiracy thing kind of...silly?

I'll believe it when I see it. Remember when he said, "If you like your insurance plan you can keep it"? "If you like your doctor, you can keep them"?, Remember, when he said Obamacare would save $2,500 a year in health care premiums? I'm still waiting for my savings.

So.........NOW Obama wants 2 billion to solve a problem that he, and he alone, created?

    No thanks.

Maybe he could take the money to deport them out of his White House travel and golf budget?

BTW - when I see live news footage of the illegal trespassers - they don't all look like "unaccompanied minors" to me. There are ALL ages in the group.

He says they'll be sent home but he's releasing them into our cities. Surely Obama knows that once they are "in the shadows," they seldom get deported.
Methinks he is saying they will be deported to discourage the illegals and fool the citizens.

You don't know if our commander is speaking truthfully.

Remember when he was going to cut the deficit in half, and said Iraq is stable?
