    Hey "Truth"

". . . democrats are takers and fakers, not makers"

    Sounds like you're projecting again.

The Dems are the can-do Party. The Repubs are the can't-do Party.

    "I want a refund . . . "

Do you now? You don't deserve one, but a lot of us do.

In fact, a special tax should be place on Right Wingers to pay for some of the massive damage they have done to this nation.

    Good governance......

Stimulus cash for clunkers and billions to support a porous border and a foreign policy that kills our ambassadors and leaves better men who painted a building for Hilary and she let them all die....

    I want a refund Gary O.

Democrats are not what the founders envisioned nor are they the American dream.......democrats are takers and fakers, not makers!

You want movement in immigration legislation? Talk to Harry Reid.

You are exactly correct. Pick a constituency, a demographic voting group, and fill in the blank. Campaigning is rarely a matter of vision, leadership, and governance. Rather it is a big raffle for giving away free stuff. Republicans are guilty of the same, though they speak to a group of citizens who sincerely want to have balanced budgets.

We must all reset our expectations, study principles of government that lead our Founders to establish the greatest nation on the earth, and seek to return to those principles.

you forgot a few, big business wants to be able to fouled or air and render our water undrinkable without regard, banks want to be able to act with wanted disregard for the law, the rich want massive tax breaks, religion wants to rule with a iron fist including only allowing those that are "Christian" to have constitutional rights etc.

    Hey David -

" Instead, we talk about free stuff."

Yes, we expect our government to give us GOOD GOVERNANCE, just like the founders envisioned.

    It's not completely free though.

We all must abide by the social contract . . . So it's give and take.

We give our taxes, and we get good governance. At least we do until "Conservatives" obstruct that good governance.

Right now, "Conservatives" are this nation's biggest problem.

Anyone who believes either major party is doing what is best for this country is foolish! They are attaching their name to a gnat! The corollary is thinking that any government program is going to make it better! The blindness and folly in that is beyond words!

Hispanic's do not decide this countries elections, remember Eric Cantor.

Are business leaders trying to scare Republicans into voting for amnesty?

Does this not show, once again, that Romney was right. Winning elections is no longer about wise leadership, principled stands, and bold vision. Instead, winning elections is about giving away something to each voting block. Women want free contraception. Hispanics want free pathway to citizenship. The unemployed want unemployment benefits. The retired want better medicare and social security. Just pick a demographic or voting block and fill in the blank with the free stuff offered to win elections.

So the fact that the Supreme Court found that forcing a business to offer contraceptive benefits is unconstitutional doesn't matter. It's all about free stuff.

I believe that Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, Madison, Hamilton and our Founders are rolling in their graves over the fickle and foolish voters who can no longer converse regarding principles of freedom. Instead, we talk about free stuff.

    @ Hutterite
Additionally, the GOP is hoping for a large amount of self deportations to diminish the latino vote.

I was disappointed that the author of this article repeated the Democrat propaganda that the Supreme Court ruling allows for-profit companies to refuse to provide insurance coverage for female contraceptives. That is false.

The Supreme Court allowed for-profit companies to avoid providing insurance coverage for four out of sixteen specific contraceptive methods, since these four methods cause the death of a fetus. It is not unusual that someone, religious or not, would object to supporting what they deem to be murder.

It would have been even more accurate if the article had mentioned that absolutely nothing prohibits the female employees from purchasing these four methods on their own.

Amidst the celebrations of the curtailment of individual freedoms in the name of corporate religiosity, the GOP forgot that women vote.
