Too many unforced errors and the biggest one led to the the counter-attack that kicked us in the gut. Wonderful game with much better play...let's see if we can keep the Germans under some control on Thursday.

Everybody in this world knows that Germany and USA will advance to next round. Any question?

Hey Germany, how about some 90 minute ping pong? Draw moves us both on...

So close to victory, 25 seconds away, bummer. It's never over until it's over. What if Bradley had taken the ball to the corner, or kicked it over goal, instead of trying to pass it, which started the counter-attack. What if Zusi would have exited the field quicker when he was replaced, the ref may not have changed stoppage time from 4 to 5 minutes. What if the US players had impeded the trailing Zarela on the play, not allowing him to time his header on the cross from Ronaldo. What if, what if?

All part of the strategy and fun of watching the games unfold. We will now see if the US can match up with Germany. Should be an exciting contest. Hopefully things play out with the US advancing to the round of 16. US soccer has come a long way to compete on the world stage.
