The only problem with this plan is it would have to apply to all parks in all states and it will unravel many state laws and the endangered species acts of wild life.

When special hunts are authorized for herd control its a culling process to remove sick, lame, and old animals that many not be suitable for hunters to consume. The DWR should inspect the animals culled for use after the kill so the infected do not infect hunters or their families or healthy animals. The idea is flawed and band aid knee jerk law I think is intended to thwart the DWR and wildlife and EPA laws regulating endangered species and blocking developers access to resources in parks or near parks.

The culling process in use is enough law and the number of animals is minimal for consumption. The federal parks and recreation and BLM are doing a good job of regulating their responsiblity. We don't need more federal laws adding more confusion contradicting laws that are accomplishing the goals of saving species from extinction.
