So if Obama can claim that the right wing denies science, is it fair to claim that Obama and his followers deny simple economic and mathematical logic and reasoning?

Climate change has been around for thousands of years.

Getting your facts from popular TV shows is not a sign of good science. In fact COSMOS is more about opinion than anything else.

It is hard to fins any real science on the left, be it climate change or evolution.

Whether climate change is real or not, there is not any hard proof we can make any remotely significant change to the earth temperature.

If we can't change it, we can't possibly be causing it.

Re: Thid Barker "The climate changed! One thing we do know is that it isn't and never was caused by C02. " Absolutely and utterly false - watch Cosmos if you dare!

When one carefully reads the most recent NOAA report, we find that the findings actually do confirm precisely what the skeptics have been claiming all along:
    1. The Earth has stopped warming.
    2. The climate models exaggerated future warming trends [caused by] CO2 climate sensitivity is much lower than we first thought.
    3. Science mingled with political agendas is no longer science but nothing more than activist's propaganda.
    4. Obama does not understand the difference which poses a significant threat to our country's success.

Science is not a left - right thing. Yes climate has always changed and will continue to change. However it is the speed of change and the cause of this rapid change that is at issue. The Deniers have adjusted their position from "No Change" to Not CO2 causing the rapid change.

What makes M-man think Chinese or Indian scientists have any more control over CO2 emissions than US scientists do? If they did, changes would have already taken place. But it's not happening, thanks to the Koch brothers and pals.

Obviously Climate deniers are ignoring science.

They don't need science when they have Rush Limbaugh to tell the what to do and think.

Mr. Obama doesn't understand the difference between real science and science tampered with by politics! Even IF (very large if) C02 emissions are causing climate change, the US is helpless to do anything about it in the face of China, India and other nations building one coal fired electrical plant after another! Obviously, their scientists are not convinced! Meanwhile, we just had the coldest winter on record in much of the US, in Russia and at the poles. Obviously the climate is not getting warmer! Experience is not science but it is still knowledge and that is what we know about global warming; it isn't happening.

The mistake Obama is making is that we all know the climate is always changing; always has, always will and hence are not "deniers". What caused the ice age? What caused the ice age to end? Why is the climate now cooler than it was a decade ago? The climate changed! One thing we do know is that it isn't and never was caused by C02. It is science but not junk science mingled with political agendas! That's the difference.
