If you're going to wax rhapsodic about Mike Lees's ancestry, how could you leave out his distinguished forbear, John D. Lee, the Mountain Meadows Murderer who took the heat and died for his crimes . . . Thereby allowing his fellow mass murderers to pass on their genes to the likes of Mike Leavitt and so many other proud Utahns today?

I wonder if Mike Lee took the opportunity to castigate the Pope for his "Marxist" leanings?

This is a proud day for St. Johns, AZ. Senator Lee's father was born here and graduated from High School with a class of around 30. St. Johns is in the high desert of Arizona and was established as a Mormon outpost in 1879 under Mormon President Wilford Woodruff. The community has always been small with a 2014 High School graduating class in the low 40's.
As an attorney, Rex Lee was appointed as solicitor general under President Reagan, founded the BYU school of law and then served as President of BYU while Senator Lee was simultaneously elected President of the Student Body.
Both the Catholic and Mormon Churches trace their priesthood authority from Jesus back to Peter, so this is a momentous ecumenical occasion. Congratulations to Senator Lee!

"Lee said The International Foundation, a private nonprofit, arranged the trip."

What do they want from you Mike? And, how much is it going to cost the rest of us?

"The International Foundation, a private nonprofit, arranged the trip." Who paid for it? The taxpayers?

Joel Osteen is one of the very few evangelicals who has distanced himself from being critical of the Mormon church when many others couldn't do so fast enough. While acknowledging doctrinal differences he doesn't seize upon it as a chance to bash it or speak disrespectfully of it. Wouldn't it be nice to accord him the same interfaith respect? You can only be a victim when you are not guilty of victimizing.

Mike Lee, the Tea Party guy, Mike Lee? Was invited to meet with the Pope? And Harry Reid wasn't invited, or any other Democrat is the House or the Senate?

That has left the liberals jealous, and speechless, as shown by three weak stabs at humor, instead of the usual 90+ posts of 195 words each, including 8 or 12 from posters with multiple accounts like OMM and Ranch.

    I love it!!!

As for the other talking heads on the aforementioned channels, I guess there are only so many used cars to be sold?
