"Many have kept warning, if something is not done about the millions of illegals crossing our borders..."

News reports are saying that many communities in South and Central America are totally emptying out as the illegals from there are moving across our southern borders. Almost all are kids and some as young as three years old. The US taxpayer is going to be hit with a bill for billions to feed, house, educate, yes, and even babysit these illegals.

It might be wise for Americans to learn Spanish so we can communicate... in our own country as immigrants from our south take over and become the majority. Si, senors and senoritas.

    "Child migrants 'urgent humanitarian' issue"

It's not a humanitarian issue. It's immigration issue.

Many have kept warning, if something is not done about the millions of illegals crossing our borders, such as enforcing our immigration laws, we will soon have all of south and Central America on our doorsteps. Well, it's happening. Kids are pouring in by the hundreds of thousands... Which Americans have to feed and house.

Someone needs to start impeachment proceedings against Barack Hussein Obama for failing to enforce Federal laws on the books as required by the US Constitution.

    @ GaryO:

Once again you've made me laugh. You're one of the most liberal commenters on these boards. And yet you keep PRETENDING to know exactly how conservatives think and feel... even when they claim and say otherwise. For some reason, it's only you who knows they are just "PRETENDING".

I think it's you who keeps PRETENDING you know more about conservatism than you obviously do. There's a reason you seldom get any "likes" regarding your comments. It's because they are usually way off target from reality with such a very liberal bias.

The real reason illegal immigration doesn't stop is because the current administration won't enforce our existing laws. They don't force employers to check for citizenship or green cards, and they won't get serious about providing required resources to actually stop illegals from crossing over our borders.

On top of that, they even turned tens of thousands of convicted felon illegal aliens back onto USA streets just a few weeks ago. The group included murderers and sexual predators. As such, conservative capitalists are the biggest problem. They just take advantage of what the liberal administration is allowing.

How is "child" defined? The article didn't say.

What is the maximum age of a child?

Is a child someone 18 years old or younger?

1.5 billion is not small potatoes. To put it in perspective, it's 3 times what Solyndra cost, (but only about 1/32 of what pensions to retired vets cost).

Still, when you're talking billions, that's serous money.

It is "Conservative" capitalists who benefit most from illegal immigration, because is equates to cheap labor. And even though these "Conservatives" may publicly PRETEND to be against illegal immigration, in reality, many of them are very much for it.

That's why it's so hard to stop.

Why would this concern the current administration? It concerns them because these kids are not of voting age. Their "pathway to citizenship" will not provide more vote fodder for several years. Since Obama has unilaterally decided not to support and defend the constitution by incapacitating the INS and law enforcement agencies regarding illegal (not "undocumented") aliens, the flood will continue. Yes, we need immigration reform, but until the reformation is complete, the laws that are currently on the books must be enforced.

Let me get this straight. We can't go and deport the parents of the illegal immigrants because it will split up the families of the illegals. But, when they are sent across the border by themselves it is a crisis? What is the crisis, we gather up the kids, put a DVD of Dora the Explorer into the Bus DVD system and ship them back to their parents.

Why is it bad to split up a family by not deporting the illegals, but is good to find homes for the children of the illegals that are sent across the border?

Through rhetoric and lack of enforcement our politicians INVITE illegal aliens to come here, and then the are surprised when they do!
