Just wonder why it's Michelle announcing it, why not the labor secretary or someone in veteran affairs.

Wonder why this same comment was blocked yesterday - cannot decipher the incomprehensible censoring policy of hte DN moderators.

Proof that the conservative talk shows and their hosts are great! The first lady is taking the program they started as her own.

Will she give them credit for the idea? Will her followers? Laughable!
As laughable as the notion that she is the author.

But at least the veterans are getting some respect from the White House. That is a good thing.

For years, we’ve heard liberals get offended at any challenge to their patriotism. And so they are again aggrieved and rising to explain away Mrs. Obama’s remarks. She said in 08 that for the first time in her life she was now proud of her country.......Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson didn't do it! WW1 and WW2 vets didn't do it....Reagan, Carter and Clinton didn't do it.......and now that her husband has been a disappointment, we can only assume that she is once again disappointed to be an American!

Veterans deserve at least someone who loves them for their service.....

Why can't you see the good a person does? Why do you look for the negative? This is a great program and all you can do is quote something from 2008.

Do you think Michelle has done anything good in 6 years? Can you list anything that might make YOU proud of her for the first time?

As Barack is still president, I am sure that Michelle is still proud of her country. Now after his term ends and he is no longer president...then we can ask Michelle if she is still proud of the USA.

I like what the government is doing with this website for the veterans. It is a service that will help to enhance veteran presentation and exposure to civil employment opportunities. Kudos to the administration for this.
