    Those who made up the concept of " standardized testing, assessments, and accountability", should themselves be held accountable for all the billions of dollars spent with failing results.

    Aren't those standardized testing, assessments, and accountability suppose to improve learning? Yet we pay billions for remedial programs?

    What about the Head Start Program, and its increased learning?

    We the tax payers have been scammed. The investment on education needs to be modified.

    Now, what were you saying about K-12 testing?
    Isn't it time to start getting serious about the defective product coming out of public schools? Did you read where up to half of high school grads are unable to do entry-level community college work? What a shame.
    Perhaps all this remedial effort at the college level should be billed back to the high schools. Maybe that will get their attention.
