Richfield's finest former citizen is at it again. The only game I wanted to watch all day and its blocked off unless I want to spend twice the cost of an actual ticket to watch a grainy unclear broadcast. Thanks for alienating fans to make a few extra dollars.

Can I enter my UHSAA pass number instead of a CC?

The basketball tourneys have always been single elimination, at least as far as being able to win the championship. Once a team loses, they have never been able to come back and win state. They have only taken out the 5th place games on the losers side of the bracket and 3rd and 4th place games, which none of them mean much anyway.

wow the UHSAA is batting a thousand today....first having to pay to watch the 3A girls now dropping/delaying the 2A boys....guess its clear how they feel towards rural schools.

My family has had the same thing happen with the Jazz. We have chose not to have "pay" TV in our home, just over the air. Again, our choice. But, we didn't know at the time that going over the air would mean no Jazz! We hardly even know who is on the team anymore since all games are on Pay TV. Yes, more money for the Jazz from TV Rights. But, we have not purchased a Jazz cap or jersey or any merchandise since we were cast aside for the cable TV dollars. Jazz lost some good fans with that choice.

Unbelievable. First "someone" decides that we are only going to have a single elimination tourney in 3A and now ya can't even watch it on the web without paying.

What is this all about? I thought it was about the kids?

But we continue to send the wrong message like "you suck if you don't win it all." Breaker, breaker its about "the journey" not the end result. In fact, only one team will be able to win it all (really?!?!?!?)

Second, it would be nice to see the kid at school or in the community next eek and reference a point you saw in the game without taking the full day off work, driving SEVERAL hours, just to watch one game and come home.

Poor, poor choices by adults resulting in in more money but that's about it.

It is because the UHSAA is making you pay to watch 3A state tournament. Check out their web site and you will see that. Why did they single 3A out to charge for online streaming?
