    I think that hte zoos that have to resort to killing excess animals or old animals are doing it all wrong. The zoos need to have enough carnivors and scavengers so that they can put the the live animal in the display and let it die as nature intended, by a predator ripping it to shreds.

    PETA and other groups talk about how the animals are being denied a natural life, but if we toss in a gazelle into the lion's enclosure every once in a while it will be good for the lions, and the zoo could probably sell special tickets to pay for special projects.

    Who out there would't spend an extra $10 at a zoo to see one of the big cats take down some prey?

    "I don't always" get death threats for killing baby zoo animals...

    "But, when I do," it is usally from irate liberals, who ironically champion the killing of millions of human babies through abortions...

    Some animals are also killed in the wild.
