    This article makes the U.S. look like the bad guy when the mother is really the one who broke up the family by leaving her children to come here, then sending for them years later. They didn't even know her. These are not the smart, educated kind of immigrants we need more of in this country. Her family does not need to remain broken up; they can join her in Spain.

    Jose's mother is the kind of person that we should be deporting. She has a criminal record of child abuse. She should not be allowed back in to the USA just because she has a citizen daughter because she does not have custody of the daughter, apparently for good reasons.

    This story shows the value of existing immigration laws when they are enforced. It is a poor example to use when advocating for change.
