it's interesting that Barack has granted as many exemptions from Obamacare to all his buddies as there are pages in the law. Using common sense here.... if the law is SOOO great then why all the exemptions??? Unions, politicians, Obama friendly corporations , etc... They all get exemptions FROM this hideous bill. Everyone else is STUCK and forced to either pay the fine or swallow his piece of .... well you know.

Now again using common sense we know the REAL agenda of the left - a SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM which amounts to the complete surrender to Socialism in America. This has always been the goal of the left. If we break down the goals of the left they are as follows...

    1. Adoption of Socialism and the abandonment of our constitution and bill of rights.
    2. Forced Atheism in America. State sanctioned PC religion.
    3. Surrender our our sovereignty and alignment with the UN as a ruling body.

think these are extreme??? All you have to do is make yourself listen and you will hear the real intent of liberal America. This is why we need Senators like Cruz, Lee and others who do NOT compromise with the left.

There are people who have tried and tried to get on the system but because of the glitches and conflicting messages from the bureaucrats who are supposed to help people, they have not been able to get coverage. What happens to these people who are trying but the government glitches won't let them get coverage. If they have a medical emergency and don't have coverage because of a problem with the system, who pays?

this law needs to be repealed completely. 2014 is only going to get uglier and uglier as this law is implemented. At some point when you have a terrible design you have to just cut your losses - throw it in the trash - and start over. Obamacare is way past that point.

The only thing worse the the botched roll out of this mess, is the actual roll out of the law. The damages are only beginning and will get worse. Please politicians REPEAL this travesty and start a discussion about the real issues rather than pushing through a law that nobody read and apparently gives the president the right to adjust it at his whim.

Does itsjustmeagain even care that millions of other people lost their current healthcare insurance and now will be forced to pay much more for less coverage and now are forced to pay for his healthcare? What makes you more special or deserving than millions of others?

No Mark, I think this time around Obama owns a real mess of his own creation, coupled with lies about it repeatedly spoken from his own mouth.
Some who are addicted to hopium will go on ignoring the truth. Others will love him forever for creating this entitlement. The 2014 midterms will shift things around a bit as a result.
But the real loser here is US. We are now saddled with another Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid/Part D...programs we cannot afford and cannot extract ourselves from.

You are right, but I suspect TB is simply parroting what he has been told to say without personal knowledge.

The roll out was a big disappointment but so are large software programs. But the law and the program is a big boost to the millions without insurance. I will no longer wonder why I paid $69000 for a one night stay in a hospital after a routine heart procedure. I was paying for the thousands who walk into the emergency room with no insurance.

Is it the best? My vote would be a Single Payer System that gets the insurance industry out of the picture except for those contracted to administer the program in a State. Unfortunately, the GOP said it would be DOA when it got to the House floor.

TB's own plan for millions of Americans with no health insurance? Would his view have been different if he had lived in Mass. a few years ago? Or is it simply a matter of "I got mine, fella."?

"The goal was that in a midterm election year, Democrats would be able to point to millions of newly insured Americans, thanks to subsidized private plans and an expanded version of Medicare."

Like selling a pig with lipstick on it and telling the other 300 million voters who were forced to buy the pig, at higher prices, its not really a pig. Tough sell.
