Doesn't matter who gets hurt, loses his coverage or employment.

    It's just business.

As simple as it seems for obama to put 2013 behind him, it would be equally simple for those of us who love this country to put obama behind us and forget he even exists and refuse to acknowledge him. He is perhaps the worst US president (and even then legally that is questionable, per The Constitution), in its history.

The day he ever entered politics was the beginning of socialism/communism to rear its ugly head in our politics. The socialist/democrat party should be held accountable for the mess the country is in, the constitutional violations, exorbitant executive orders signed (the most in history), obamacare (socialist, unconstitutional law). And after putting him behind us, let's add perhaps the most inept Congress in recent history. Are you listening Hatch? You sir, are just as much the problem as is obama, and perhaps more so because you, Hatch, have had 40+ years to get it right and you have failed miserably. Thanks for nothing.

‘Official business behind him, Obama looks to 2014’--sure, the best thing this man has ever done for this great country is to be on vacation

    Worf's law of politics:

President serves three years, and everyone else two. Many should have the opportunity to serve their country. This is a service, not a career.

Obama is reeling from the healthcare mess that will only grow worse as company plans get converted.
The economy is still very fragile with part-time workers and dead end jobs making up the employment numbers.
The stock market is pumped up by Fed bond purchases and institutional face-saving manipulations.
America doesn't have the stomach for amnesty once you get past the elites.
We've not done anything to fix the problem of government spending.
Our little line in the sand is nonsense and the world knows it.
Other than that, Obama's doing a great job and the AP reporter is justified in pushing the reset button on 2013.
Sure, he's done a great job. NOT!

This new (to Obama) John Podesta guy who is WH chief of staff is a bare knuckles politician. Word is, Obama knows he will get no further with the House led Republicans than last year. Plus it is an election year, with the Republicans looking to gain momentum for the 2014 and 2016 elections. The Democrats of course will be trying to hold their ground. So anything done by either side will be with the future elections in mind. Republicans will likely try to look a little more accomodating while trying to hold Obama and the Democrats in check. Meanwhile watch for a lot of new Executive Orders coming from the White House as Obama will largely try to circumvent the Congress all together to get his agenda passed. 2014 will definately be good for TV news shows. Lots of drama.
