I'm really tired of all the WA comments. Yeah sure it consists of a lot of out of state players, but they have to get up and practice just as much as every other high school player in the country (Utah included) A team like Gunnison (or any other team in the classification) can win the championship, even with WA in the mix. It all comes down to who wants it more, and which team is willing to put in the practice and patience in order to achieve it. using excuses like "they are out of state" or "it's a private school" just shows little faith people have in their own school programs. Any school that goes with a sit-back and give up attitude versus a get-up and push it attitude isn't going to have a title ripped from their hands, as they aren't even willing to have the heart and determination to give it a chance

The other private schools are not happy with the approach of WA either .

I will continue commenting on the Wasatch Academy basketball program. Sour grapes is one thing but this situation is another. Wasatch Academy may very well be the best team in the state, PERIOD! Here is the thing. Small towns in this state(such as Gunnison) wait for decades to win a state championship. It only comes around for these towns and the people and families that have worked and lived there maybe twice in a life time. Why is this prize being torn away from these Utah folks by allowing International players(although nice kids)to come in and play and compete on an stacked playing field?
