BO is nothing more than a misguided (far left) visionary seriously lacking in leadership qualities needed to effectively move the nation forward to reach its' potential. So sad for this once-great nation. I have said many times, the best Presidents are those who lead from right of center (if G.O.P.) or left of center(if Dem). To govern from the far right or from the far left is a recipe for disaster. It has become increasingly clear that the skills possessed by Mitt Romney would never have split the nation nor plunged us into the massive debt, nor shut down government as has this current inept occupant of the oval office.

I only wish that BO had not done any more damage than Nixon did--his downfall was a "tempest in a teapot" compared to what BO and his far-left cronies have done, and continue to do.

did he lie or didn't he?

Do you love lies or don't you?

yes, I will admit to hating lies; I will admit to vitriole against lies.

    Why do you protect lies?

you worry about what we are teaching our children.

    Do your worry that:

BO's misadministration sold guns to mexican drug cartels?

BO has US citizens assassinated via drone strike with no trial?

BO abandons our ambassadors to murder in the streets and then covers up his malfeasanse by lying about some obscure video?

BO appoints tax cheats to his cabinet?

BO consistenly belittles and lies about those with whom he disagrees? (and THAT does not show HIS hatred???)

Or are those the attributes you want taught to your children?

I dont care who it is, if a person lies, I will tell my children that the person is not trustworthy and that integrity is more important than any title.

    @Star Bright:

The consumers are now out numbering the producers.

Their votes determine our political leaders. They except the lies, and claim discrimination on the most irrelevant things to gain the spoils of the producers.

I wonder what our country will look like in ten years.

Could he get elected today knowing what we know now, heck no! Today he would not even gain the democrat nomination. May we all survive.

"The Republicans in Washington were lying to people and leaving tens of millions of Americans with the impression they were going to lose their health insurance, that this was going to be an apocalyptic development for the American health care system."

So the White House came up with counter lies because the Republicans started it? The Republicans were bad, because they LIED! LIED! LIED! (Well, actually, they lied . . . first. We aren't the same kind of liars they were. Our lies were noble lies so it is OK.)

Well, it looks like the Republicans weren't lying after all.

When I read the defense and obfuscation that comes from some posters about blindly supporting our President regardless of how amoral, intolerant, dishonest or damaging he is, it worries me about our country's future and what we are teaching our children.

When I read the vitrole and hatred that comes from so many of these posters about our President it worries me about our country's future and what we are teaching our children. It's one thing to disagree about a policy or how it is sold to our citizens and to voice dissen,t but so many of BO's dissenters seem to expose more hatred than reason.

How's "the most transparent administration in recent history" working out for ya??

This is, BY FAR, the worst president in U.S. history - bar none. BHO is the Jim Jones of American presidents, and he has plenty of uneducated kool-aid drinkers following him.

One major catastrophe after the other, and no end in sight.

in a free country with a history grounded in God, liberty, and truth, eventually the deceptions by our political leaders will fracture. my hope is that this is just the beginning.

The really sad part about the Obamacare lie is seeing so many of our friends and neighbors lose their jobs or have their hours cut - for something that doesn't work anyway.

When the "employer mandate" kicks in in 2014 the outcry will be even larger than it is now to repeal the hoax called Obamacare, but will the jobs EVER come back that were lost to Obamacare?

    I'm doubtful.

What happens to the 16000 IRS agents that have been hired to implement Obamacare? Will they just be unleashed on the general public to audit anyone/everyone with a pulse? Or will they be laid off?

And yet, when you look at Virginia, they support Obama no matter how many lies he tells. Single women vote for the dem by 60%. I worry about our country. I worry about our children, grandchildren. I probably won't be around to reap the awful rewards of this admin, but what are we leaving to them? .

What is so disturbing is he should not be president. If he hadn't cut Romney's grassroots tea party get out to vote efforts off at the knees with the IRS and told the truth about health care, he would be a one term president.

He is in office only by theft and deception. And we're all good with this?

Obama lied and then lied about the lie. Does anyone believe anything and I mean anything he has ever said? The video RE; Bengazi. Fast and Furious! IRS! NSA! oh but wait a minute thats right he didn't know. What disgrace to have this from the so called President.

This entire Obamacare fiasco has caused Obama to lose his credibility with most people. The level of deception he espoused from multiple broken promises... time and time again... concerning this law are causing even uninformed voters who normally support him to start questioning whatever he says. How can a rational person not?

If this bill is his legacy, then historically, he's in big trouble.

it is always an awkward, fumbling experience when you attempt to lie or even worse to justify an existing lie. This article makes my case. So let me get this straight - in order to sell the law to the American people Barack decided to lie - the ends justify the means. We now know that as early as 2010 the Obama administration knew the line "if you like your health care you can keep it" was an outright, bald faced, lie yet they went forward with it anyway because they knew the law was doomed otherwise and so was Barack's 2012 re-election. Over 50 times over 3 years Obama lied - "if you like your doctor or insurance you can keep it..period". There were NO qualifiers THEN but there are plenty of qualifiers popping up NOW!! A lie is a lie. When you KNOW something is untrue but you go forward with it anyway to get gain then it is a LIE and that is what Barack did over and over and over. A man with a conscious or an ounce of integrity or honor would man up and come clean now - but NOT Barack.

Even his supporters within the party are no help in explaining this turkey.
Dianne Feinstein came off confused herself on the Sunday talk show Face the Nation. She hedged on the explanation.
Ezekiel Emanuel gave a very passionate explanation that ACA works because people change plans.
These explanations don't help Obama's cause.
They can look forward to next year when the company plans become obsolete. Estimates are that 92 million people will be cancelled then.

what a tattered web we weave when first we practrice to deceive.

maybe if they had not sold it with lies and deceit they would not be having quite so many problems

This has become so complicated - but what we personally realize is: We are losing the medical insurance we have had for the last 17 years, and having to choose another insurance that costs less per month, but has triple + triple out of pocket expenses. This could be borne a bit easier if the president, and members of congress, had the same insurance. And why should they not?
