"It should be working well by the end of November."

It **should** be working well NOW!

I have over 25 years of software engineering experience and can say with near certainty that, given their past performance, their estimate of fixing this monstrosity by the end of November is **absurd**!!

I wonder what the odds in Las Vegas are on this estimate? Wouldn't surprise me if they were 100:1 against.

Of course, with the kind of Clintonian honesty that has come to characterize this administration, I suppose one of the most important questions to answer is exactly what is meant by the word "fix".

worf: More than half our people receive government benefits.

Actually ALL Americans and a lot of foreign governments and businesses receive Government benefits, from the road you drive on to the wars we wage for ego's in texas. Our food and water are safe not because businesses want it to be, but because Government forces them through threat of fines to behave like fellow human beings.

I know the government will suddenly be patriotic and not the boogie man if the republicans ever get another person in the white house, could be a while though.

Wait til folks actually do log in and see the eye popping high premiums. This thing is going to go from bad to worse for most. There is NOTHING good about Obamacare for most middle class families. Nothing. I suspect most young people will NOT enroll - just too expensive and then what???

The best fix of all will be to repeal this train wreck of a law.

The website problem is only a symptom. Obamacare is the disease which will prove fatal if not repealed.

Most of those who are actually signing up are getting MEDICAID, which is free to them. It is obvious that fraud is rampant and lots of people are beating the system, just as with the unprecedented number of people who have climbed aboard the "disability" freebie program.

Obamacare is not providing a single new doctor or hospital. It is only forcing people off the insurance plan they liked (despite Obama's promises they could keep it) and forcing them to buy an insurance product they do not want, at a much higher price, or pay a fine.

Anyone who thought health care was bad before will really feel sick when they try to get treated after Obamacare is fully implemented. Doctors and hospitals are quitting the business as the reimbursements are less than the cost of doing business. Good luck getting any doctor to accept you if you are on Medicare or Medicaid.

More than half our people receive government benefits.

Since government takes our money, it's the others that's providing the benefits, and will soon run dry.

    How is this fixing healthcare?

It's redistributing to the point all will be in poverty.

Once the website is working and people can sign up for insurance on the exchanges, we can then focus on the other aspects of Obamacare, such as the medical device excise tax. Apparently retail stores such as Cabellas is having to charge this medical device tax on products such as fishing rods. When you buy tires for your vehicle, apparently you'll see an additional tax, which is the excise tax. Interesting that a tire can be a medical device under Obamacare.
