Will it help the environment if we just keep all our comments for recycling the next time this business comes up? It should work pretty well, because I don't notice that much learning from this crisis has as yet taken place.

we the tax payers are now subsidising millions for healthcare through taxes. My premiums jumped 10% for the first time in nearly 5 years. Not to mention benefits have gone down. If my company were to have stayed on my current plan, it would have been a 40% increase. They simply could not afford that. So, explain to me why I should be excited that I now pay for those who get on Obamacare through my taxes as well as my health insurance premiums? Give me a break. I will go back to a small increase per year for those who are uninsured.

I love how people dig their head in the sand and act like no ones insurance is being adversely affected by Obamacare. Wake up People. It is a mess. Unfortunately, as with everything else these days($17T debt) this will just be the new norm in a few years and just another crutch that will make people reliant on the government instead of themselves.

    Matheson needs to go.

His cowardly non-vote on Obama care now his Yes vote raising the debit ceiling shows his true colors.

Matheson is not the person for our state, I don't care about his genealogy to his Daddy.

    Get him out!

Hey, that was so much fun, I think we should all do it again in a few months. Hope the government has enough money left to get us that far because when Obamacare really kicks in it is going to make the defense budget look like small potatos.

The Republican Party is no more. May it die a quiet and painless death. Just please do so quickly. A new party that respects the constitution, that knows how to manage our nation's debt and cares more about the long-term viability of the US as a nation than about their own political career, needs to be born. I just hope it happens sooner than later. Either way, we have 20 years of Democratic dominance, 20 years of socialist agenda, to look forward to.

    Republican Party, RIP.

I guess (X Republican Miramar, FL)you were fine with half of America wandering into the emergency rooms and getting free care on others insurance premiums. I bet you also whine about the "illegals" getting free care too. Well this bill was written by republicans and deals with everything the Tea Party say they want. But their blind angry Fox news junkies keep listening to the talking points and miss the entire objective of the bill. Living here in Utah behind the Zion Curtain I'm use to the same rhetoric, Love Mitt but hate the same health care plan he implemented. I hope the Tea party continues because it's trashing Hannity and Rush, your faithful leaders. Read Paul Joseph Goebbels stuff, it's the same thing. History took care of that bunch of right wing fanatics too.

considering how poorly this worked out for republicans does it really seem wise for them to have agreed to kick this issue down the road and closer to the election? they would have been wiser to just pass a long term deal at this point.

I'll be voting anything but Repub or Dem. Time for a new party. One that cares more about the nation than $ and politics.

Hello fellow republican, not very please with the rotten deal that we the American people got today. Yes maybe it was the wrong fight Obama Care repeal but there were some previsions that should have been push for and not settle for a rotten deal, Raising the debt it's unacceptable and kicking the can down the road is just as bad, unless the republican party stand firm on what is best for the American people it will never be what it use to be. I for one unless I see some back bone from the party will not, help, donate or Vote for the GOP. I will be looking for the TEA PARTY or even Independent. For now will watch and see what happen with in the next couple of months when the debt ceiling come up again.
    Best Regards:

The tea party fails big time. Next time maybe wants to Let our Senator know that he is trying to defund a funded bill and may harm people in shutting down government.
