barry has done nothing to earn anyone's trust. why believe him to talk about anything of worth while he is busy weighing in on the redskins, keeping vets out of the WW II memorial, allowing illegals protest on the mall today, not allowing travel expense money to go to war survivor relatives to meet caskets at Dover and leaves money in his wife's shake your ? activity. americans are experiencing what it means to have a community organizer running the wh.

A bit difficult to deal with a pathological liar. Everyone else is to blame but him. Having been
abandoned by his parents, our president was pampered and indulged. Not having to answer for his
own behavior, he finds it difficult to deal as an adult with those who differ with him.
His behavior towards the American public, while indulging those he panders too, shows him to be spiteful and petty during this 'shutdown'. Expect 'childlike' behavior, since we are dealing
    with such.

And who is required to pass a budget? That would be congress. Who passes budgets that they know are DOA in the Senate, that would be the House. No question that the President plays some politics with his budget proposal, but lets be real the game players are in the House, and they have the responsibility to pass the budget.

The Budget and Accounting Act of 1921 requires the president to submit a budget in February. This President is always late, which is partly because the president's budget has never been feasible. We just don't have that much money. The other part is that the delay is designed to make sure the congress doesn't have time to examine it closely and take out the fat.

The president stands on his bully pulpit as I type. Not buying any of it. He has said he won't negotiate, now he says he has negotiated. To put it kindly, total absence of truth.

    Go Big Blue,

I will put the blame on congress, because I can read the constitution. The budget, including all spending and taxing is responsibility of the congress most specifically the place where those bills must originate the House. So I will blame first and foremost the House and second the Senate. The budget that the President proposed is really not that far from the Ryan budget, but the House refuses to do anything other than pander to the tea party and play political games at the expense of the American people. The President and Mr. Boehner had an agreement in 2011 until Mr. Boehner backed out under tea party pressure. No Mr. Boehner wants to negotiate but only after he makes a series of public demands that he knows are dead on arrival. The tea party will bring this country to its knees.

Obama will go down as the first president to never have a budget passed by congress. Some will be quick to put the blame on congress. How about putting the blame on a president that absolutely refuses to negotiate. We have a president that rules by a philosophy of my way or no way. Sad to say I actually miss Bill Clinton. I didn't like Clinton's politics but the man could get both parties together and make some progress. Barack . . . not a chance.

The President is too busy getting our enemies abroad with Seal team six, an executive department unit, and administering the new ACA. Senator Lee failed and should be held accountable to avoid future governmental end around moves.

Link the debt ceiling to the penny plan. Reduce the budget by one penny per dollar either by targeted cuts agreed upon, or across the board if they can't agree, and raise the ceiling for 6 months, possibly a year. Next year do the same. Fix this once and for all.

I too will brag that I am debt free. It wasn't done by making more money. It came by watching the spending like a hawk.

Pathetic when our leaders can't balance a budget.

I'm going to brag.--I'm out of debt.

The Republicans leaders are dumping the Cruz-Lee proposal. This would be a good time for Lee to resign.
