Obama says, "we're digging our way out of this economic mess",--but there's no new shovel ready jobs.

It is better for BO to be laid off, than have the country dwindle in high unemployment, and taxes.

@mountainman. So just to be clear Obama should own this economy, but don't republicans believe in self reliance and self accountability? Why do they constantly blame everything on Obama or Democrats? When GWB was in office and people complained about him or his policies republicans like yourself chided people for blaming others. You said take personal responsibility for yourself. Maybe republicans should take there own advice.

To bungalow. Did you really not know in 2008 that GWB would not be president in 2009? Do you not know that economic investors make decisions based upon the future and not the present? I sold my real estate in the US in 2008 and invested in China. Call me unpatriotic, but I knew GWB term was over. When I sold my property I really thought Hillary Clinton would be president, but it doesn't matter, I took a risk that we would get a less business friendly president. And I haven't regretted my decision once. The property I sold isn't worth what I was paid for it. My China investments are up. So go ahead and blame GWB and keep investing in Obama. I predict the economy will start to improve during his last lame duck year. You can give him credit and you will still wonder why others aren't suffering like you are and keep blaming GWB.

"Mission accomplished, Bush" "the recession is over, Biden" and "al-Qaeda is on the run, Obama" are all quotes that the people who made them wish they hadn't. BTW, it's past time to blame Bush for the current problems that plague the US. It's not constructive so lets move on.

How about paying your workers a REAL living wage? Imagine the increase in the velocity of money! Those with insanely high salaries plunk that money into stocks and bonds - these do not generate demand for goods. The purchasing of goods do increase demand, which in turn increase the demand for jobs. As more money is placed into the hands of the working class the economic recovery will exponentially occur. Pay CEOs and managers high wages for their intellect, skills, and risk taking, but not outlandish, unrealistic, and insane salaries!

Forty five percent of our national debt have come in the passed five years.

If that forty five percent was equally divided to all Americans, 21 and over,--there would be no poverty. Just the same debt we have now.

bungalow. Read the article referencing polling data and real experiences your fellow Americans are experiencing today. It will help you see that it STILL isn't GWB's fault! GWB hasn't been President for going on 6 years. B.O. owns this economy, not GWB. All the while we are told by BO supporters that the economy is wonderful! Probably explains BO's plunging approval numbers! You are going to have to come up with something better than its GWB's fault because that excuse is getting very tired with your fellow Americans as this article points out.

It is very evident to me that the news media and liberals in general are bending over backwards to protect Obama's failing policies and governance. After all, we can not allow the first black President in US history to fail! That would set back social "progress" in America 200 years. Hence, we must have double standards for measuring the economy, poverty, race relations, foreign policy, our national debt explosion and all other standards by which we measure progress in order to accommodate our first black President. That is not racist it is just the truth and most Americans can't handle the truth.

And we can still hear the chants from the past along with the tears of joy and celebration, "Yes we can, Yes we can, Yes we can".

After all anytime you bring up a point on how ridiculous this president is and his policies and ideology. The opposition simply played their good old reliable race card and paint you as a racists, bigot, unintelligent, ignorant......rather than counter arguing and making a reasonable rebuttal.

Our citizens don't need jobs! And of course MORE foreigners should be brought in and placed under the control of rich men like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates. That's how this nation was built! Cotton doesn't pick itself, you know …

Is there no pity? Why there are days, even weeks, when Zuckerberg's net worth dips from 11 figures to just 10 figures.
