    Mark B in Eureka,
Improve the syntax and relevance of your cryptic comments. If you are defending Eric Weiner, don't bother.

    Liberal thinking:

    * not voting for Weiner, because of his behavior, is discrimination.
    * his wife is to be admired, because she forgives him.
    * Republicans do the same thing,
    * it doesn't matter what you do with your private life, but how you govern.
    * Don't violate Weiner's civil rights.

I don't get GWAB. Isn't OK part of the US, too? If so, then why doesn't he weep for ALL of us?

Clarification: the 2 words in caps above were not "added" (go read the original quote in the article yourself) but rather the "add" was to capitalize them for emphasis.

Once again, America, I weep for you...

Article quote: "New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner admitted on Tuesday to sending additional explicit photos and texts to a woman he met online — correspondence she says began months AFTER he resigned from Congress for SIMILAR behavior."

(the two words in all caps added for the morally impaired.....)

    This guy is a scumbag.

    Therefore, liberals will love him.

America, oh, how I weep for you....

I have no problem with folks saying they can't trust Weiner as an elected official. On the other hand, does watching a few minutes of TV qualify anyone as an expert on a family that lives 2000 miles away? Yes, we've been through this business before. It didn't reflect well on the self-appointed experts then, either.

And Mrs. Weiner, absolutely no pun intended, turns out to be a stand by her man woman, ala Hillary, her mentor. Why not, everything in this world is forgivable, except maybe murder. He doesn't appear to be her sugar daddy, considering her federal career.

This is positive credibility for a Democrat. He's a sure thing for mayor now. Then govenor, and on the ticket for President with the complete endorsement of Bill Clinton.

It is no longer a matter of his low moral character, that's a given. It is a matter of self control and judgment. Putting him in a position of authority and decision making would be unthinkable. But, an unthinking electorate is why he may win the election.

Let's face facts. Voters are not critical thinkers.

Our inability to vote in morally clean leaders will destroy this country.

If one is not absolutely amazed and astounded at Weiner's total lack of decency and control of himself, then there is no hope that perverted people as is Weiner, will not be elected into leadership positions by citizens who do not care and are indifferent to evil. On a personal note - one cannot understand how even his wife can tolerate him.

He's only honest about the latest proof that is out there. If someone had asked him last summer if this behavior was continuing, he would have said no.

    And apparently it still was.

What a gem this guy is.
