Barack doesn't seem to understand that merely redistributing wealth is not the same as creating it. You cannot redistribute your way to prosperity. It has never worked and never will yet he is like an old dog who knows nothing but the old and tired ways.

Whether you like the law or not, please never consider yourself too healthy to have insurance, that attitude is just ignorant. I am not a fan of Obamacare either but I feel that it is kind of stupid not to have insurance. I too am healthy and I rarely get sick but with that said, I did break my ankle while hiking a few years back and needed surgery. Kind of glad I had insurance for that. The point is you can get injured, get diagnosed with cancer (this happened to a friend of mine who ran marathons for crying out loud) or some other desease or, heaven forbid, get pregnant. If you still feel that insurance is not necessary for you, please never go to the hospital. If you can't afford medical care, you can't afford that and if you default we all get to pay the higher medical costs for your inability to see anything further than now.

He forgot to mention that he and his family are totally exempt from Obama care and have a separate GOLDEN package paid for by you the taxpayers?

Eric Samuelsen I do admire that you put your full name out there for all to read, but I think you must be living in a bubble when you write some of your posts. If the Republicans hold Congress, and take the White House in '16, one of the first things the President will be asked to do is modify or repeal large parts of Obamacare. In case you are not aware, it was not popular when it passed, and has gotten less popular since. About the only part that is popular is the pre-existing condition requirement. And if all of Obamacare was swept away, that could still be put in as a seperate law.

evern the AP put out a fact check article that said BO was exaggerating his claims - in other words, he is lying.

With a ferocious campaign of misinformation, implementation continues

@dhsalum - my daughter is in the same boat. No longer qualifies for insurance on my plan, doesn't work at a place who offers it because she's only part time, she's a single mom trying to make it on her own, and doesn't have the extra money to buy into the insurance plan, or to pay the fine for not having the insurance. What alternatives are there for kids like this? Anyone have any suggestions?

The Dear Leader also said that his Obamacare is doing what it was designed to do. So, what was it designed to do? He has stated he believes in a single payer system which simply doesn't work. Can anyone spell "S-O-C-I-A-L-I-S-M?"

I was against Obama care but I am praying now that it does some good. I haven't seen any good come out of it yet for me personally and I have seen our premiums increase. My 2 married adult children under 26 are enjoying the benefits of being on our insurance though. This is one of the Obamacare mandates that is keeping young adults who tend not to carry insurance be covered. My daughter just had a new baby and our excellent insurance paid for the whole thing. They also just covered her breast pump. I am grateful for this for her sake but I can't help but think of how much this cost our insurance company. No wonder premiums have increased because these new mandates do have to be paid for. My family has always had health insurance and I often felt that uninsured people had to be paid for somehow and if they can't pay it just raised the costs for the rest of us. Despite my misgivings about the whole thing, I would hope that making sure more people are insured lowers costs across the board. Only time will tell if this will really work.

Thank goodness for AP articles. We learn that Obama is a saint and Republicans are the most evil people to ever walk the earth, and that their only objective is to make sure Saint Obama fails. It is the evil Republicans who are to blame for all the country's problems; if it weren't for them, we would live in a perfect world.

Obama said that we need to "get to know the law" to like it. Is that why he had to bribe so many Democrats to sign it? They have to find out what's in it in order to like it, but they had to pass it before they can find out what's in it to know if they like it. Obama and his henchmen have a very interesting version of reality.

Obama is the one who needs a new song and dance? The guy is a disaster to the economy/constitution and the rule of law! Even he has extended the business mandate for healthcare, which by its own merit is a signal that Obamacare is not ready for prime time! He needs to scrap the whole program or move forward with all of it! But he won't do either.....he knows that Obamacare will cost him both the House and the Senate if it is allowed to move forward before the election!

Two questions for Mr. O. Is he and his family signed up for the old Affordable Health Care package? And-is he willing to take his dog and pony show on the road and say those things to an audience that wasn't hand picked to swoon at everything his teleprompter tells him to say?

Obamacare defense has been words, just words. Truth is there is no song and nobody is doing the jig. Obama topped (didn't think it was possible) Nixon and Clinton. Obama ignoring what's going on is scary or arrogant, neither good for the American public.

Same old song----"Tax and spend" to take care of the 47% that fail to see that they should take care of themselves just a tad bit, rather than Uncle Sam always picking up the tab (as in you and me).

Absolutely right. Despite a ferocious campaign of misinformation, implementation continues, with a few minor bobbles. And this will not be an issue in the 2016 Presidential campaign. It's going to work, and it's going to be immensely popular.

As a healthy 26-yr-old working full-time, I'm being that told that I have to waste money on insurance I dont need (I havent visited a doctor since I got married and lost my parents insurance 4 years ago).. Or else I have to pay a fine. Explain to me how this is not socialist health care and how this is supposedly better for me.

barack you're the same old song and dance.

Promise people we'll spend tons of money, unemployment will go way down, deficit will go down, financial stability of middle class citizens will go up.

    Nope barack.

You said you'd cut the deficit in half in your first term.

    It wasn't cut by 50%

    Or 40%

    Or 30%

    Or 20%

    Or 10%

    Or 1%

    You increased it barack.

Impossible barack truly believed he would decrease it. He lied in our faces.

And some people think kids should look up to the president.

If I had kids, I'd steer them as far away from his as possible as an "example"

If the same old song and dance means getting your hours cut back, then I agree, republicans have been on the same song and dance for a while -- and have been right about it too.
