These protesters are doing to innocent people what Trayvon did to George...just saying.

The looting and assaults should go a long way in dispelling the myth of black criminality.

Is this what was meant by "keeping the momentum going" in an earlier article??

Lets look at the ramifications of what they are doing.

These people are complaining that non-blacks think that the black community is full of thugs and criminals. So, when a non-black pleads self defense to killing a black kid and is found "Not Guilty", those blacks that don't like the image that others have of them go around rioting and comitting crimes.

I wish they would take a step back and look at how counterproductive it is to say that your community isn't full of criminals and thugs, at the same time your community is going around rioting, looting, and beating innocent people.

Sounds like a group of unprincipled, angry people who are confident life is unfair looking for an excuse to commit crimes. I'm also guessing that there are many in the crowd that don't often need an excuse.

    m.g. scott,

Thank you. I didn't see any irony either. It appeared just a poor attempt to use the word irony.

Not sure we get the irony. Please explain. Seems to me Chris is just pointing out that if the verdict had been guilty for Mr. Zimmerman, there would have been no riots from the side that thought he was not guilty.

"I predicted this would happen if acquitted.
Zimmerman supporters would not have engaged in this behavior if he was convicted
Speaks volumes about the character of the people on both sides."

    Such an ironic comment!

Wow. You'd think they won the Super Bowl.

We need European police to come in and restore order, preferably Russian, German or Polish.

The irrational behavior of the protesters speaks volumes about the justice of their cause.

I understand and accept protest rallies, if they remain protest rallies. When some (all?) in the rally commit crimes, they are as guilty as they believe George Zimmerman to be. What they are protesting about will not stop, will not end, until they do. They are not improving the plight they imagine themselves to be under.

This is not good people protesting, these are thugs taking advantage of the situation.

This kind of behavior does little to support the notion of a young teen just getting a cold drink and a snack on his way home and then being brutally attacked by a bully. It furthers the notion of a group of individuals bent on violence against any and all who are not "of color."

I don't get that mentality. I agree, How is beating up other innocent people and breaking windows and stopping the freeway and destroying stores going to bring back Treyvon? How are people going to understand your words when your actions speak louder and speak of stupidity? You are acting just like George Zimmerman. Go to school, get an education, become a politician and make a change in the system. This young man's parents are hurt by this verdict and I feel for them but they don't want violence, they have said so. Did people riot and break into store when O.J. Simpson was found not guilty of killing his wife? No. People are hurt I understand that but this doesn't make anything better nor does it bring this young man back. The world is watching and we look stupid!

Nothing show greater commitment to civil rights than looting stores.

Dr. martin Luther King would be mortified by the actions of modern "civil rights" demonstrators, and their sleazy "leaders."

I guess that some of these folks believed that Travon's justice was in a retail establishment and just went in to get it.

Being Black is not a crime, but breaking windows and attacking people on sidewalks is.
