    Open minded,
    You would do better boycotting oil than forgetting that many Democratic leaders believed the CIA (not Bush) about WMD and complaining about oil profits. If oil companies are that profitable, would you suggest investing in them? I don't have any oil stocks in my IRA.

    To "Open Minded Mormon" tell us where in the constitution it states what acceptable reasons are for starting a war.

    The fact is that the US can go to war for any reason. We beat back Muslim pirates before to allow our commerce fleets to conduct trade. You should read up on the Barbary War.

    If you would be a CO for an offensive war, would you have objected to Obama sending aircraft into Libya, Egypt, or Africa? He did all of that as an offensive tactic, yet you supported him.

    You complain about the Gadiantons, at the same time you are supporting a highly corrupt administration. You realize that Obama's presidency has been one coverup after another. Actually the Gadiantons were seeking power over people, through whatever means necessary. The Gadiantons were seeking to centralize the government into the hands of a few people, just like Progressives have been doing for the past 100 years. So tell us, why do you support Progressives/Gadiantons?

    @OpenMinded Mormon,

    Mike - let me answer by asking you this...

    How was the Military invasion of Iraq, based on lies and deceit, a Constitutional use of our military and our taxes? ...and if you are a man of your words and have an ounce of integrity, Why do you keep defending it?

    BTW - Yes, if I was Active duty - and had been called to fight in an OFFENSIVE operation for gain and plunder for Corporate earnings [Oil], then yes - I would have been a CO [conscientious objector].
    I only fight to defend our country, and our freedom.
    Not for Corporations bottom line.
    That's what Gadianton's Fight for....Master Mahan, Economics 101. Killing for Gain.

    @OpenMinded Mormon,

    You, under one of your other identities, have told us of your military career. Thank you for serving in the military; but, your post would make us think that you were a conscientious objector instead of being a soldier who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution.

    You, a soldier, complain that the military did its duty under the direction of the Commander in Chief. Where is the "death count" that appeared everyday in media when Obama was campaigning for office? Have there been no military fatalities since he took office? Have the drones killed no civilians since he took office? Have there been no "atrocities" since he took office? He bragged to the world that he killed Bin laden (without a trial, even though Bin laden could have easily been taken prisoner and tried in the world court for his crimes). Are you "outraged" for that killing?

    Tell us why you're attacking your own conduct as a voluntary soldier.

    Honest Americans want to know why Obama has not stopped the killing and why it is not being reported.

    John Swallow is NOT investigating himself. The Deseret News has reported that fact many times.

    The hypocrisy in the letter is that President Obama IS being investigated by Congress.

    Meanwhile - John Swallow is investigating HIMSELF.

    Meanwhile --
    I'm still waiting for a single God fearing, honest, Republican with an ounce of integrity to investigate the lies, deceit, wars, thousands of deaths and 100's thousands of wounded, and the unfunded reckless spending over those lies and deceit during the disaster of Pres. GW Bush administration.

    Just as I thought -- hypocrites.

    Indeed, I must agree with JCS. It's very true that the ignorant masses must awaken and take note of what is going on. The public must finally withdraw its electoral support from those who seek to run America into the ground. It's far past time to recognize the harm being done by the Republican Party and get them out of office.

    Steve is absolutely correct. The liberal-leaning media has been quick to call for an investigation of Swallow, but has been absolutely silent in the call for investigation of the higher levels of government. For instance, the media has absolutely ignored the fact that there is significant reason to investigate the part that Harry Reid played in the Swallow scandal, with the accuser of Swallow also giving significant evidence against Reid.

    This is to say nothing of the Obama administration itself. It is clear that the administration either directed or at least acted with deliberate and willful negligence in the IRS and Benghazi affairs. If these anti-American activities and subsequent coverups were not directed by the administration, they clearly occurred under an administration which intentionally chose to turn a blind eye toward this activity.

    The ignorant masses must awaken and take note of what is going on. The public must finally withdraw its electoral support from those who seek to run America into the ground.

    We already have a system that "investigates" those who are elected. WE are those investigators. WE are responsible for those we elect to hold public office.

    Smooth talking politicians - on every level - convince the lazy to vote for them. How many times have you stood in line waiting to vote when you've heard someone ask "which person should I vote for?" That makes my blood boil. As citizens, we have the RESPONSIBILITY to be fully informed before we vote. How can we demand that those we elect be fully informed of the bills they vote on if we haven't done enough homework to even know who is on the ballot?

    Yes, by all means, investigate all misdeeds. In the case of John Swallow, how about also investigating those who are demanding that he be removed from office? What is their agenda? What do they have to gain? Who benefits most when the waters around the attorney general's office is muddy? Who benefits most when he cannot do his duty? Who would be prosecuted if he were fully functioning? Somebody does not want him to be able to do his job? Who is that person or persons?

    Congress has held hearings on each of the matters listed in the letter. What further investigation would you like?

    Well, Steve, you're getting your wish. Congressional Repubs ARE investigating Obama's gov't ad infinitum ad nauseam right down to who's holding that umbrella over his head. Meanwhile, back in Utah the legislature has somehow mislaid its investigative power over the AG's office. Well, you've gotten half your wish, anyway...
