no surprise here...his budget fails to garner a single vote form either party...his gun ban fails even with democrats and his health care bill was called a 'train wreck' by congressmen of his own party....so what does Barack do???? Yes sir ...go back out in front of the adoring and clueless crowds and friendly cities where he can talk and blame without being challenged. Yes go back to the CAMPAIGN trail!!! It is all the man knows. Set down and work things out with other congressmen? Not a chance. The man has no idea how to actually govern. Sadly - and almost nauseatingly - predictable pattern over the past 5 years.

Obama's economic plan:-- Make them greedy rich folks pay more taxes. It's not fair.

Put everybody under the poverty line, and dependent.

    Is this an accurate picture?

Lost in DC: When I wrote about him doing his job I was thinking of his job of protecting our borders. He is AWOL on that issue along with most of our Washinton politicians and professional federal appointees.

I agree with your comment that we are better off when he does nothing economically.

Al Gore is furious with Obama polluting the air with Air Force One.

We need to take away the credit card, and keys.

    Riverton Coug,
unfortunately his plans trip US all up, too.

actually, no. The less he does of his job, the better off we are. NOTHING that he has pushed through congress has done us ANY good.

Let him play golf or shoot baskets with his posse - just so long as he does it locally and does not run up a fuel bill on Air Force One

    Obama's economic plan:
    1. Legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
    2. Ignore the fact that what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
    3. Ignore the fact that the government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
    4. Attempts to multiply wealth by dividing it-mathematically impossible.
    5. Get himself elected when the majority of voters get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, but unfortunately when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they worked for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Economic plans? When has he ever had one? Oh I forgot the one where he runs the Country into the ground.

Maybe he should stay at the White House and hold a meeting with his economic advisers, which he has almost totally failed to do in his first four years. It really would be good to have an actual plan, other than throwing money away on "green energy" schemes run by friends who waste all the taxpayer money they get.

Worse, we have come to know that Obama cannot be trusted. He will make grand policy pronouncements, then act exactly the opposite within hours or days.

Worst of all, his ONLY economic plan seems to be confiscation of the earnings of the people who actually work, and then promise it to the "takers" who are his voter base, contentedly living on the liberal welfare plantation.

Please, President Obama, just go on vacation yet again. You do less damage to the economy then than when supposedly "working on the people's business."

Neither Barry, nor Michelle seem to like living in the White House.

I would just appreciate it if the Campaigner in Chief would stay home and do his job. We all know that his economic plan is to raise taxes on the wealthy and distribute that to his minions. So what is the purpose of this trip?

    SCfan--Try three years.

I do wish Obama would stay out of Texas though. He's a financial disaster.

Republican or Democrat, Obamas problem is the same any re-elected President always has. Every day of the second term, is a day more "lame duck" than the last. And, as with Bush, if Congress goes to the opposite party in the mid-term, he will be almost without power. That is why I think that the best way to have a President is to have him/her serve one 6 year term, like a Senator, and then out. That way, the President would not have to spend all that time campaigning and raising money for re-election and instead do the job of being Chief Executive.
