    Gentyle: Catholics believe in the Trinity. I know you were speaking sarcastically, but I believe that the pope was talking about that time our Savior was in asleep in the boat with the apostles and the wind and the waves overtook them as if to swallow them. See Matt 8:23-24. The pope appears to have been overwhelmed by the happenings in the Catholic Church. Pity he couldn't stay and take care of it with the help of God.

    I'm shocked that he admitted God was sleeping. So much important work to be done, after all. I guess I knew that he rested on the 7th day . . . I just wasn't aware that he was passed out on the couch. Thank God for the Trinity! Even with God sleeping and the holy spirit hard to pin down (due to its ephemeral nature), there is still a 1/3 chance that I'm being looked after!
