Another four years from a man that has no respect or regard for the Constitution, our Flag or our lives. This truth brings much worry, heartache and concern for our families. He is a deceiver, and he is good at it. He is a manipulator and knows just the flowery words to use to bring the American people to his side. Things will continue to get worse until the American people wake up. Thank goodness there are those who are not wearing those rose colored glasses...we recognize the manipulation but we also know there is someone else who is in control - God- and he will allow only so much more of this to go on..stay close to Him.

the American people did this with their eyes open and I think this sad day in American history is more of a reality check on where the majority of low information voters are in this country than anything else. I see a future in American of exploding debt and taxation, shrinking business owners and higher unemployment coupled with a much less influential American military world wide. I see a mirror of Greece in America in 5 years - bankrupt and desperate. I see an increasingly lazy, uninformed electorate dependent of the government with the real smart people with means leaving this country. In short - the American dream is dead. Things like home ownership and basic freedoms are fading away fast but it was all done by a deterioration in the culture of this country which is only a shadow of what it once was. Not exactly something to celebrate!!

Your list is valid and worthy of discussion.

Obama vacations are petty and not relevant in the least.

If you want any credibility, stick to real issues.

Obama vacations are an indicator of what he is. That's really hard to see, isn't it?

A great president leads by example, and not by excuses of what others did:

    * Seventy percent added to the deficit in four years is not a sign of a great country.
    * You will not see your taxes go up a dime was not truthful.
    * By passing congress with 140 executive orders in four years, is unpatriotic.
    * Gun control in America, while selling them to Mexican cartels.
    * Spending millions of tax payer money for vacations, are an insult.

People on the dole, and without a HS degree (education) should not vote.

Wow. Obama took a vacation. The scandal!

FYI? The Previous President, W. Bush took 1020 vacation.

He had two terms, that's eight years.

1020 days is almost three years of vacation.

If your biggest gripe about Obama is that he took LESS vacation time than his predecessor...

it is no wonder Obama got sworn in again today.

Seriously? Your biggest gripe is that this president takes vacations?

Here is a suggestion. How about you focus on real issues. You know. The issues that are unique to Obama. All presidents take vacations. And the taxpayers foot some of the bill.

    Obama is from Hawaii.

Would you rather he vacation in Kenya?

Four more years of free vacations on the backs of the country.

Hawaiaan vacation more costly then the Royal family of England in a year.

Glad Tom got to go Rush Limbaugh. Hope you feel better. If this was a country based on oppressive power by a lawless dictator as you so recklessly proclaim, you would be jailed by noon.

"We could have had a President who used his business expertise on two occasions to turn inherited deficits into revenues. "

Make one thing clear. The GOP would not have allowed Romney or any other GOP president to "use their business expertise". They dont need an astute business leader. They wanted a rubber stamp president.

    According to Grover Norquist.

"We don’t need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget,” he told New York magazine. “Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States.”"

Four more years followed by many more unless the GOP recongonizes the new face(s) of America. We're not all white, over weight, wannabe rich males.

They say Obama is going after gun control in the second term. Hopefully he does, as that just might create a huge congressional win for the Republicans in 2014.

As for those of you who still think this mess is Bushs fault, remember, we will be looking at a 17 TRILLION dollar debt pretty soon, and 6 trillion of it will be the result of only 4 years of BO. I don't think he or any Democrat in the country even understands the difference between a Billion and a Trillion. And they certainly don't understand what "debt" is.

So Romney would have been much worse than Obama? We could have had a President who used his business expertise on two occasions to turn inherited deficits into revenues. But we got a community organizer who inherited a deficit of over 4 trillion and turned it into a deficit of 16 trillion and growing. Shame on all of you who put Obama back into office. He says he wants to reduce the deficit and even said he would accept 1 dollar of spending for 3 dollars of cuts during this last election. John Boehner plan B for the fiscal cliff was 800 billion in revenue for 1.6 trillion in cuts. Obama who said he would accept that kind of proposal changed his mind and wanted 1.6 trillion in revenue. Those of us like myself who wanted fiscal responsibility tried but the American People didn't want to listen.

Please do not fling around the term tyranny so easily. You obviously do not know what it means. There are countries in the world where you can be imprisoned or killed just for disagreeing with the government. And, yet, here you are, spouting off about the President and I'm guessing you're doing it from the warmth and safety of your home rather than a prison cell.

tyranny? you mean by the man elected by the majority of the people twice to do institute the agenda we twice elected him to do? . Tyranny would have been swearing in Romney today and allowing him to install his agenda on the people against their wishes despite his failure to win the election. Please at least use terms correctly.

" .... As proven, by the Supreme court upholding Healthcare reform.... "

Excuse me - the Supreme Court upheld this on the basis that it is a TAX. We all know what Obama promised about TAXES.

All I know for sure is our Health Insurance premiums went up nearly $300 a month, our taxes have increased by over $150 every 2 weeks.
My aged parents Social security has decreased by $80 per month and their medicare suplimental insurance has increased by $148 per month.
Our food is now being hit by inflation because our government, the federal reserve, is printing bills that have little or no backing.
Our economy has pretty much taken another tailspin, No frieght!
The news reporter I watched this afternoon was actually celibrating because this last month there were only 37,000 new unemployed!
    When will it get better?
When will this awefull economy get a chance to recover without a massive amount of new taxes? When will Obama actually say something that even sounds like it might be true?
One lie after another is not deffendable, nore are all the new taxes and regulations.
"When the government takes from the working, to give to the nonworking this is slavery"!

Pagan - still blaming Bush, eh?? Who's to blame for the $6 Trillion of the last four years?? After 8 years you'll still blame Bush. It will forever be someone else's fault. The libs will never take responsibility.

We can only sit and wonder how much better off this country would be with Mitt Romney. Four more years of tyranny won't be pretty.

  • peter Alpine, UT

The next four years will test the fabric of freedom in this country. If the administration and those who believe in big government uphold the Constitution the same in the next four years as they did in the previous four years, this fabric will be thread-bare. But, this can be for our good, making everyone decide whioh side of the aisle they stand on. This ride will not be for the faint at heart.
