    We've lost our 'founding father' charisma in DC; no one is willing to do the very unpopular thing of tax reform. They all talk about it but no one will do it since it'd be immediate political suicide. But they miss the fact that they'd be celebrated in years to come.

    Agreed that we need spending under control, maybe it's time we reposessed the White House or Capitol due to late payments...

    The Federal Government used to make its money from a tax on alcohol sales. Then prohibition was passed. The Federal income tax was created to replace the funds lost by no longer being able to tax alcohol.

    Maybe that's the only way to end this vicious cycle, abolish and repeal the tax laws again so this country can restore some sanity in the minds and attituteds of government leaders.

    That would really frost Obama, repael the tax laws and the federal budget. Would probably be the best thing to ever happen for the economy and rebirth of the american culture.
