"trying to stamp out opposition in the Senate to his and Obama's America-hating, and want-to-destroy-America agenda."

    Wow. Thanks for that insight.

Back to the compound! The black helicopters are hovering! UN troops have drafted an army of Kenyans to go house to house to take away our guns and impose Sharia Law!

And always remember, purity of essence!

Harry Reid has not fulfilled his Constitutional and lawful duty to pass a budget but, he has time to act like a dictator by trying to stamp out opposition in the Senate to his and Obama's America-hating, and want-to-destroy-America agenda. The United States House can impeach any Federal official. So, the House should immediately impeach Obama, Biden, and Harry Reid! Why should all of America suffer because the State of Nevada allows and encourages the illegal immigrants who are foreign nationals to vote in national elections? That alone is enough reason to impeach Reid, Obama, and Obama right away!

Lets see, Harry Reid wants to end the filibuster, Obama wants unilateral control over the debt ceiling. Could it be the Libs are trying to set up the Kingdom for King Barack.

Conservatives both take credit for blocking anything from happening in the senate and then claim that harry Reid and Obama are inept for not getting anything done. Nice when you can have it both ways in your own brain.

I remember when I was republican and repeated insanity mindlessly. My life is a lot better after shutting off Limbaugh.

I used to think there was no worse political hack than Tom Daschle, then along came harry reid.

And Mitch McConnell is worse than Daschle and Reid put together.

Anything that stops Harry Reid and the Democrats from enacting more expansion of government into our lives is fine by me.

The filibuster was a bad idea from the beginning. It and similar rules were intended to keep the South from leaving the Union. They left anyway. Such rules were never envisioned in the Constitution. Just get rid of it and lets get on with governing. Another thing to reform by the way is the power committee chairs have. They can effectively create a filibusterer by refusing to schedule hearings on legislation. Both parties have used it, including our Senior senator. Enough gridlock. Get back to majority rule.

It is amazing to me personally that the US government doesn't just completely collapse or shut down with the pathetic leadership that exits. Can you imagine having Harry Reid as the CEO of your company? Holy smokes you wouldn't last a year before going out of business. Reid hasn't produced a budget in 4 years from the senate. Let me repeat that - no budget in 4 years!!! The level of incompetence in the senate with Reid at the helm staggers the mind. The man is all about partisan politics ... period. That's Harry Reid in a nutshell. No leadership - no compromise - just protecting his party at the expense of the country. My brother lives in Vegas and he said it is well known how connected "dirty Harry" is with big casino unions which happen to also have deep roots into the mod. The man is dirty to the core and corrupt to the max and throw into that mix complete incompetence and there you have it - the leader of the US senate. I know there are young bright minds in congress - Mike Lee for example - but the brightest are pushed aside to make room for the corrupt majority.

The less arcane procedures at play in the Senate the better. This will reduce the number of embarrassing incidents like McConnell proposing a vote and then filibustering himself.
