Best of luck to Manti. He is a far better representaitive of the
faith than Mitt IMO.
What an amazing athlete. Manti has class. He has shown heart, ability and
leadership in guiding Notre Dame to the national championship game. He is
deserving of the Heisman because football includes both offense and defense.
Aloha; I'm from Hawaii and went to Roosevelt High and were friends with the
Te'o family. I remember the family so well to this day. That was 50 years
ago. The love they have of life and family and God is legendary. I remember
wanting to date Mima, Rocky Te'o daughter and how I had to prove my worth
for such an honer. That was scary. Manti was and is the kind of kid I tried to
be. But The Viet Nam war and all changed what people thought of me after I came
home. He and his family are and what we should try to be. When he fail's
and he will, you will see the great kid he is. I just know this must be a very
hard burden on him.May the God of Israel bless and keep them together,
Mahalo for all the Te'o family has taught me.Aloha
Manti and Star both wanted to attend BYU coming out of high school. In the
Lavell Edwards era, All America players like these enrolled and completed
successful careers at BYU. The honor code was NOT a problem for either of these
players. Perhaps Brandon Doman should visit Lavell Edwards rather
than the Islands to figure out how to recruit and hold on to quality people and
players like Star and Manti.
Go Irish!!!We're praying for you Manti!
These are the worst finalist for the Heisman I have seen in awhile.
