The game was frustrating, but the game experience was fun. Hats off to the San Jose branch of the BYU alumni association for putting on such a great pregame party.

Yes! These undersized Spartan kids held the line on 4th down! BYU not only cannot pass, they can't overpower these boys either. Have to admire Spartan desire and will ... at least so far.

Yes! These Spartans are awesome. What a passing game. SJSU is demonstrating exactly what was promised to BYU fans years ago, but abandoned by our coaches ... an exciting and successful passing game.

It would be poetic justice if a spunky little Spartan team from the WAC with a good passing game outplays & defeats an over-sized, unimaginative running team from Independence & ESPN world. BYU used to be a spunky & imaginative little passing team from the WAC, just like SJSU.

Its not about how good he is. Maybe he stinks. But he deserved a shot to prove himself with the 1st string when the outcome was in question when Riley first went down.

Why? Because the coaches told him and the public he was the guy. Which made sense. He was a senior that was often quoted saying his lifetime dream was to start at BYU. Then the coaches bailed on him when the time came and gave the ball to a freshman that favored Stanford over BYU coming out of High School.

While I do not know any of them, I think all 3 BYU quarterbacks are great people and players but only one was lied to. That is my gripe.

The back up QB is always the most popular guy on campus, isn't he?

Have you ever thought that maybe Lark just isn't that good? Did you watch the game against Idaho last week? When he came into the game, it seemed to me that there was a noticeable drop off in the offense. Sure there could be other explanations for that, but maybe it's because he's not as good as the guy starting. Just because he can throw farther doesn't mean he's a better QB.

    Honestly I don't care.

This team lost my allegiance when the coaches turned their backs on James Lark a senior who always put BYU first. Buy rather than honoring their public promise to Lark they start a freshman whose first choice was Stanford.

Wrong message to fireside attendees, Loyal Fans that understand loyalty, and future recruits.

BYU could win out and it will mean nothing.

BYU is better than this. Whats up with the coaches ?
