Mobile gas trucks could help in Sandy aftermath

    Mobile fuel trucks are on scene right now. Roads had to be cleared of debris to allow them to get there, but the administration and FEMA started them rolling soon after the storm passed. There just aren't enough of them.

    One question -- are all those folks out there Democrats? If any are Republicans, why weren't they prepared?

    Power generators would work fine to supply electricity to the gas station.

    If a gas station wanted to remain open without waiting for government people to save them, or to avoid waiting for the power company, they could always get some solar panels set up and run their business using those.

    The only question is if they have phone and internet service to process credit/debt card transactions.
